Do the Cubs have new rivals? I don’t know, the Reds sure want to act like it. Everybody seems like they want to be rivals with us; I know people dislike the Cubs. The Reds were supposed to be good this year…
The Reds aren’t very good this year. Sure, they have some good players, but their manager… And I only know that their manager sucks as much as he does because I have a good friend who is a big Reds fan; he’s constantly banging on him… and from what I can tell, rightfully so. If you have a manager that does not know how to manage the pitching staff, you could be in trouble. Not only that but his lineup decisions are questionable at best. Still, you can’t blame it all on the manager. What happened to Joey Votto? I remember him saying how much he hates the Cubs. Well, he’ll soon be put out to pasture, and will not be given much thought to again… kind of like Thom Brennaman right? Is he back yet? This fricking guy… used to broadcast Cubs games for God’s sake, then becomes the absolute biggest hater out there, taking shots at the Cubs and their fans whenever he gets a chance. And then he gets recorded saying some shit… I’m not sorry for him, especially when he doubles down and says he never said that before. Come on man, really? I apologize for my words and still have ways to go in understanding… yada yada. That would have been better. He’ll be back though… hopefully just in time to see the Reds miss the playoffs.

This guy, always on Twitter talking shit, acting crazy on the field… what is his major malfunction? I guess it’s fun for the most part, but you can run your mouth like diarrhea but the Cubs can’t? Then you want to talk about shoving it up our ass after 1 win… that’s real funny, considering how you fared against us on the biggest stage and how apparently sensitive you are about that. Can dish it but can’t take it… ok, got it.
I remember when Kyle Farnsworth body slammed one of the Reds, and when Anthony Rizzo yelled at their dugout, and then of course the last time we played, and whatever dumb shit that was. The Reds have had plenty of success over the years… nothing for like 30 years, but who am I to talk about droughts… Still, they have a couple nice players, and resident Cub killer Eugenio Suarez… not enough to get them on my radar. Yeah, they’ll remain in the rear view for the time being, hopefully one more game back after we beat them on Thursday. We should be able to get in the game. But that will be the last time we see them this year, just like Wednesday was probably the last time we see Bauer in a Reds uniform. No sweat off my brow; don’t really hate them, just honestly don’t care about them. Go about your business and check in on the Pirates at the bottom of the standings; they’re more your speed.
