It’s almost that time of year again. Hard to believe, but the Bulls and Blackhawks are about to be back. If the Cubs can play late into October, we’ll have all 4 sports going at once. Overload!!!
It’s all about the Cubs right now, but the Bears demand attention too. Now, the Bulls and Blackhawks are barging in. It might not be a bad thing, once baseball is over, considering the Bears season thus far, that basketball and hockey return as soon as possible. We may need it at some point… that point is not now, but at some point.
The Bulls had their media day earlier this week, while the Blackhawks started the preseason off Wednesday night at the UC. It’s all happening so fast. What will the UC returns be this year?
This is happening for a price for viagra 100mg number of reasons, around them: convenient, effective and competitive. People who count themselves among the 15.5 million survivors were diagnosed sildenafil generic viagra less than five years ago. Also debilitating painfulness could ronaldgreenwaldmd.com viagra prescription very well deliver episodes of severe tenderness. This results in common side cheap cialis from canada effects such as hair falling out and blood counts dropping. I don’t know what to expect from the Bulls, except the fact that it will be interesting. It could be good… it could be really good… it could be bad. Hoiberg in year 2, looking overmatched in year 1, now has to manage 3 big egos with Buckets, Wade, and Rondo. Everybody is talking nice now… saying the right things… but when things get real out there, how will things shake out? Will Hoiberg have any amount of control, or will he, or is he already, just a figurehead, with no control of what’s happening on the court? It’s only year 2 of the Hoiberg 5 year, we paid him too much money, contract. I was all up for giving him a chance, but to hear him say the same things over and over… really with no answers… after each and every loss that that crappy Bulls team last year had.. didn’t show me much. But… do you give him a mulligan? At least the Rose drama is gone; see ya bye bye. Maybe that will prove to be a great thing. Still, with Noah gone, who will be the leader on that court? We lacked one last year. Does Wade take that role? Does Jimmy try it again? Last year, he was trying, but it wasn’t working. Do you have to be born to lead, or can you practice at it, and get better? Like I said, it will be interesting.
The Blackhawks will have the core back intact… taking up most of the salary cap dollars on this team. Rightfully so, but… how will that impact the depth of the club? We’ll have to get used to a number of new names again, while the number of fans wearing ex-Hawks jerseys in the UC continues to grow. It was a disappointing finish last year for sure, but the Hawks were still awesome. Come postseason time, when it boils down to one game, it can go either way. We’ve seen that the last 2 times the Hawks have been eliminated in Game 7s. I’m hoping the defense is much improved. Those 4-6 defenders need to be solid, while 1-3 get another year older. How will Keith respond from his injury? But, I’m expecting the same old things from the Hawks during the regular season. Another playoff berth is expected. Then the real season starts for the boys. It sucked getting knocked out first round last year.
Had to slip this one in there. Not sure how many Bulls or Blackhawks blogs there will be for the next month… it kind of depends on those other 2 teams that are still playing. Yes, I know the Sox are still playing too… It just shows that this Chicago sports stuff never stops. There is stuff to talk about 365 days a year… every year. This is why I love it. See you soon boys… now will the Bears get their first win this weekend at home vs Detroit?

Its Cubs all the way from here…nothing else matters for now. Bears have flat lined, Bulls will be horrible, but the Blackhawks will be our sunshine though the winter snow. When the Cubs win, it will be a year long party and nothing else will matter!
One side note: Bulls are setting up Jimmy for failure, when they set out to get Wade it became his team. That’s how you sell it to other players who are willing to come here. Once this year becomes a flop, Jimmy will be blamed and possible traded so Wade can take over. Trading young players for old ones does not work unless your on a playoff run, which the Bulls are not!

Bhawks should have another great year at the UC. Stay healthy and get those line combos ready. No 1st round knockout this year…time for 4in8!
Bulls should be interesting. How will fredberg do in year 2? How will Butler lead “his” team? How will wade and rondo mesh and contribute? A lot of big questions but one should not be. The Bulls should and better be back in the playoffs!
