Let’s take another look at that Bears victory; I might as well put off talking about the Cubs for as long as I can. They easily covered the spread in this game. When I saw it come out at -6.5 Bears, I loved it; when I saw it go down to 4.5, I loved it even more. I almost felt like taking that drive to Indiana to place my first legal bet on sports outside of Vegas. In a few months, I won’t even have to cross state lines to do it. I couldn’t even imagine if sports gambling was legal in Illinois back in the day… that would have been scary. Anyways, I don’t follow the lines that closely nowadays, other than the Bears game but this one definitely jumped out at me. Although with the Bears, it’s really tough to separate head and heart.
Speaking of head and heart, back to Trubisky for a minute. The national guys continue to bury this guy, even after a semi-decent game, and most importantly, a WIN; isn’t that what it’s all about, especially for a QB? I don’t want to be this big, blind Trubisky defender; my buddies are already making me feel that way. Of course in my heart, I see Mitch leading us to a Super Bowl; my head sees the defense leading us to a Super Bowl, with Trubisky making some plays, and not screwing it up. Hey, it don’t matter how, just give me that Super Bowl. But yes, I do think Trubisky can be that guy… that QB on a Super Bowl winning team. Is he a franchise guy? Is he the type of guy you trade up to grab with the 2nd overall pick of the draft? Maybe not; but he doesn’t have to be right now. We’ll know more later this season.
The defense came out foaming at the mouth on Monday night. They sure looked like a phenomenal defense, but against the Redskins, maybe most teams would? Again, can’t blame the Bears for beating teams on their schedule; I can shortchange other teams’ records for the teams they beat though… haha. The first real test will be this week at home against the Vikes. I’m throwing out that first game against Green Bay… we’ll get another chance against those guys later this year. Let’s talk more about how we stack up against each other then. We gave the Packers that one…

The most important thing is to consult pfizer viagra samples a doctor.I saw some video of Nagy yelling at Mitch, and yes, I did see the Tarik Cohen locker room video. If Nagy needs to lay into Mitch once in a while, then so be it. Tear them down to build them back up theory? I trust in Nagy; that’s important right now. I don’t think he’s called his best game yet either. As far as the locker room video, be smarter than that Tarik. It’s cool to see Club Dub going on after the game, but we probably don’t need to see locker room videos, and what we saw from Kyle Long in this one. I guess the ladies may have a different opinion, but I’m guessing this will be the last locker room video of the year from the Bears.
OK… I guess I have to get on with it. We’ll talk more Bears later this week; it’s time to check back in on the ski slope that the Cubs are heading down. It’ll all be over soon.
