These are great times to be a Bears fan, let me tell you. It’s bad enough the kick in the nuts Week 1, the follow-up loss to the Bucs; starting 0-2 is never a good place to be. But let’s not forget… that’s 12 losses in a row for our boys. Yeah, the last time the Bears won was October of last year; can they make it a year without a win? Then you have the Fields press conference, which gave all the people blaming the coaches a little ammunition; Justin and Getsy did hug it out in practice the next day to show everything is AG. Everything is NOT AG for our DC… he gone, and he may be in jail soon. Rumors of the FBI raiding his house and Halas Hall?!? What in the world??? Sounds like one of our offensive linemen will be out for the year; that’s great. Then stuff gets stolen from Soldier Field? And we’re heading into Arrowhead to play the reigning Super Bowl champion the Kansas City Chiefs? It may get darker…
From a gambling perspective, this Bears shitstorm actually makes me LOVE them getting the points this week in KC. From a die hard fan perspective, this is painful. Just feels like we’re a mickey mouse organization, which is sad for one that’s been around so long. Do those guys know what they’re doing? What about Eberflus? Has he already lost the locker room? And Fields? Is he on track to be yet another QB bust for our team? When the losses mount up, the blame intensifies, spreads like a virus. Nobody is immune to it. Let’s take our accountability too. Did you wear your lucky jersey this week? Did you sit on the right side of the couch? You have to look everywhere…
And is our defensive coordinator going to jail? What could he have done to be in trouble with the FBI? With him being Eberflus’ guy, that looks really, really bad. Eberflus actually had to call the defense this week in Tampa, which I thought didn’t play horribly. What was our DC doing? Was he at home shredding paperwork like in the movie Argo? You hear the whole FBI thing, and that Peanut Tillman who works for the FBI told the Bears about it, then you hear it’s family, health, personal… the internet is a hell of a contraption… haha. This stuff just spreads like wildfire… Will the truth eventually come out, or like that gun that was tucked under some fat chick’s stomach at the Sox game, will it just go away?
This Bears season isn’t going away, although some sound like that’s what they want. I don’t. I said earlier in the week I wasn’t throwing in the towel; I’m still holding on to it. It’s way too early… So no matter how bad it looks, it’s really not THAT bad… is it???
