Trick or Treat MFers! Yeah, well, the Bears chose trick on this Halloween Day 2021. You thought we had a good defense and our offense was the problem, huh? Well, think again you dummy. Just when the offense has a moment… just when our rookie QB is looking good… bam! Got ya! You’re on Bears candid camera…
I wasn’t worried about the Niners. Lost 4 in a row. Have absolutely nobody on offense except one guy; certainly the Bears wouldn’t let that one guy beat us, would they? Got ya again suckers. I know, I know… the Bears didn’t have Khalil Mack on this day, and for all you people who talk crap about him, like he isn’t worth what we traded to get him, like he doesn’t impact the game regardless of sack numbers, think again. The 49ers offense had 2 guys now free to do what they please against our defensive pass rush, which was non-existent. I mean, give me enough time in that pocket, and somebody will eventually get open. This is where the problem started on defense. Then we lost Bo-Jack, the safety who had a great year then decided not to tackle any more. Well, turns out, that although his tackling skills suck, his coverage skills are OK, because man did the secondary look bad without him. Yes, they had to maintain coverage for longer than normal, but now they didn’t have a critical coverage guy… it all added up to Deebo Samuel making us look like a shit defense, being that one guy that we couldn’t let beat us, beat us. 3-5 feels a whole lot worse than 4-4…
But that Justin Fields TD run… yeah, how about that play!?!? I was yelling my head off, but by the time I calmed down, our automatic kicker has missed the extra point and our defense allowed the Niners to march right back down the field to score a TD. Life moves pretty fast around here… But yeah, Justin Fields looked better today. No Nagy a coincidence? I think that plays out the rest of the year, a year in which the playoffs took a big hit with this pathetic loss. Fields getting better each game, without getting injured, as many people have stated, should be the number one goal. I agree, but… I also want to win. Can’t we have it both ways?

I mean, duh, Bears win is the only option right? Well, about half the people picked the other one; wtf is wrong with them? I’m choosing a Bears win every week over everything else, but we can’t always get what we want… And if A is the alternate ending right now, I guess I’ll have to live with it; what other choice do I have? So in place of the Bears winning games, Fields continues to improve, and puts himself in that position to be our QB of the future, our long awaited 2nd franchise QB, then so be it… I guess.
Sorry if I still think this team is good enough to win some games. Sorry if I’m pissed off we couldn’t beat the sorry ass Niners. They didn’t even have George Kittle?!?! Actually, I thought the Niners would be decent this year; I guess I don’t only have that problem with my Bears season outlook every year…
Welp, back to the drawing board, and a visit to Pittsburgh next week on Monday night. How much average time will Fields have to get rid of the ball next week? If no Mack, and Eddie, how much average time will old ass Big Ben have to get rid of the ball? The answers to those questions will determine the winner of the game. Feeling better? Bear Down!!!
