October 2, 2015: Week 4 Bears vs Raiders

Welcome to the first realistic chance for this Bears team to win a game.

I thought they had a chance vs the Pack, and they did play well.  Looking back, it was their best game of the season thus far. I thought we were in trouble vs Arizona, and we were.  I knew we’d lose to Seattle, and we did. Now that we’ve played arguably the toughest part of our schedule, we welcome in the Silver and Black.

They’ve looked pretty good so far.  I got nothing against the Raiders. I’m actually happy for them and their die hard fans, but sorry if I’m not buying playoff tickets yet.  They can be better than they have in a long time and still not make the playoffs. They can be better than they have in a long time and still be the worst team we’ve faced so far this year. Yet, they still could be better than us.

And maybe over a 16 game season they are, but on this Sunday, the Bears will get their first win of the year.

First thing first, will Jay play?  Will he make his glorious return against the Raiders after sitting out last week in Seattle?  How convenient that would be.  Yes, I’m questioning his injury, but will gladly welcome him back. You see what our options are.  Although they were pretty good defenses Jimmy faced, and although we know Jay would have been better, weren’t the results going to be the same?
