I always want to beat the Packers, bad. This Sunday was no different. It’s been a long time, waiting for the tide to turn. When I was a kid, the Bears pretty much “owned” the Packers; the Packers got some wins here and there, but for the most part, they were a second rate, dirty ass also ran. It’s amazing what a QB can do for a franchise, or in the case of Green Bay, 2 back to back franchise QBs. Yes, since that time, and I don’t need to throw any graphics up on the TV showing you the list of QBs for each franchise since then, or what Favre and Rodgers combined record is against us, the Packers HAVE owned us; it sucks to say, but it isn’t that hard to see. I’m ready for this reign of terror to be over; I’m ready for their 2nd, and hopefully final franchise QB in my lifetime, to get the hell out of here. I’m ready for the Bears to finally find one of those, and start kicking the Packers ass on the regular. I was ready to see this on Sunday; I guess I was just a little too over anxious.
This Sunday went just like most Sundays against the Packers these past couple few decades: a Bears loss. Yet, why am I trying to stay positive? Why am I trying to see the silver lining here? Why do I think that my wish for that tide to turn will be here sooner than later? Just a little patience, that’s all; we have plenty of that as Bears fans. Yes, Justin Fields did not play awesome; he did OK. I have to remember he is a rookie; he’ll make mistakes, like thinking he can escape any and all pressure vs throwing the ball away. Justin also learned the hard way the other thing the Packers got going for them, either at or away from Lambeau, and that’s the zebras. Yeah, yeah… Bears lose, Bears fans bitch about the officiating. Well, it sucks to say, but it isn’t that hard to see. The interception after the offsides wasn’t that big. The phantom holding penalty didn’t matter at the end of the day because we scored anyways. The timeout that wasn’t given to us… well… And what about that first down on one of those Packers scoring drives? I swear I want to re-watch the game to see that again. I recall the Bears stopping them a yard or two short, but next thing you know, first down Packers, and no replay. A pass interference call against the Bears too… and then Olsen has the balls to bitch about that call against the Packers in the end zone when it was clear the dude pushed our guy in the back, even if they didn’t want to show you the other angle. Yeah, Justin, you’ll have to beat them too, but that’s OK… I believe you can, I mean, you will… we will.

Oh, so this time, you shout some stuff and that’s supposed to bother us? Well, I think you too see the writing on the wall; you too realize that THAT may have been one of your last moments against us… so yeah, let it out, and then get out when you’re done. You were almost out weren’t you? Or was that just the diva in you yearning for attention from the franchise that has tried to replace you, complaining about not getting any help when you historically have a great OL and great players at the skill positions on offense, making your case to the ESPN that you’re one of the greats of all time, all the while getting that help from the striped donkeys… this sounds like a Hate File.
Nice game Mr. Rodgers, nice game. Just know this: your days are numbered. Your team will soon be back to that also ran, dirty ass bunch of scumbag team, floundering around without a franchise QB, while us? Yeah, ours is just getting started. See you soon… bitch.
