I had the “pleasure” of watching a lot of the Bulls Knicks game last night at MSG. Man, was that an ugly affair. The game was so bad I was just hoping somebody would win already so I could stop watching it. Thankfully the Bulls pulled it out. Zach Lavine scored a career high 41 points; I’m slowly coming around on Zach, both for the right now, and for the long term. I can’t say the same about others…
Let’s just start at the top; the top of the food chain of the individuals on the court during the game. The coach, Fredberg. Do we really have to keep him until the end of his contract? I’m already making a Hate File in my head for this guy, but you know the rules… can’t do a Hate File about someone currently on one of my teams; so that will wait. But in the meantime, I can talk some shit. Why do you continue to run out Cam Payne, Holliday, and Parker? I get it… these guys have to play, we have nobody else. But why do you have them all on the court at the end of the 4th quarter, OT, and double OT?!?! Just stick an arrow in my eye…
Here’s what I would have did… yes, me of zero coaching experience. Zach, Rolo (only because Wendell fouled out), Arcidiacono (I’m going to refer to him as RA from here on out so I don’t need to look up the spelling of his damn name every time I want to talk about him), Hutchison, and Blakeney. Newsflash Fred: those were your best options down the stretch in this one. But what do I know…

I guess it really didn’t matter who else was on the court. After all, your great offensive system is just give the ball to Zach and watch him do something. Thankfully the dude can get to the rim at will; like I said, I’m really coming around on him. He’s only 23! So yes, I think he can be a part of this thing as we go forward; just as long as Hoiberg isn’t. Did you see a few of the out of bounds plays, or end of the game strategies? I thought this guy could call a play or two; horrible… just horrible. He just stands there… sending the same guys out, not making any substitutions, when really there was a need. Payne should have been pulled earlier in the 4th. Holliday… not sure what the heck has gotten into that dude since he’s changed his hairstyle, but he doesn’t really belong on the court. Parker… that’s funny. Is it just me or does he just seem awkward out there? We know he doesn’t play any defense; now we know we chucks up shots that he has no reason to take. And have you heard him postgame at all? What an asshole.
I know GarPax may have given you instructions to move ahead full force with the tank again, and maybe that’s what it is, but… what do you have to lose? You’re not going to be here anyways. Use your basketball brain and do some things that make sense. We were bailed out by Zach in this one against a horrific Knicks team; scary thing is we were just barely better. It’s like nobody wanted to win this game. Ah screw it, I should just be happy that we won, and not so pissed about Hoiberg… waiting for the Bulls to can his ass. He’s got to be the next coach to go in Chicago, right?

Not gonna lie, it is hard to watch the Bulls. They are that bad. Actually, it is hard to watch the entire nba. The game is all about 1on1 and pick n roll. Nobody runs an offense. Nobody plays defense. Everybody constantly carries the ball and travels without being called. The nba has gone down the tubes and has been like that for awhile. Back to the Bulls, Zach has been a bright spot but still not real sure about him being the guy. I mean, how hard is it to be the bright spot on this Bulls team? Yes, he is averaging about 28 points a game. He helped carry the Bulls to a win vs the knicks in an ugly affair. But is he the guy? Yes, he is only 23, which is a definite good thing, but will he still want to be in Chicago by the time they are ready to compete? I mean, they are light years away. Garpaxberg might all be in the ground by that time. I am obviously exaggerating, but that is how it feels with this Bulls squad right now. You know things are bad when the Bulls win, and we are still talking trash…hahaha. Enjoy the W, who knows when the next one will be. GO BULLS!!!
