Well, the end result of this game proved one thing: the Bears are a 500 team. Hey, there are many years we would have taken that after 12 games; not this year. Regardless of the win, I’m still not believing this season is going anywhere. Yes, mathematically we are still alive, but I haven’t seen anything that makes me believe we will play and beat those odds.
Sure, Mitch played well… against the Lions… again. Now only if we can play them the other 14 games of the year, we would be worshiping Trubisky instead of slandering him. Yet, I’m not going to poo poo on this win. I will take and be thankful for every victory we get, regardless of who it was against, regardless of the “quality” of win.
