We still “party” on this evening. Gearing up for the holiday season, we kick it off with a celebration on this evening; I always have. It was a fun night. My wife had some family from NYC in town; they’re always fun to see. We didn’t play too, too late… had to get home and rest up for another long day on Thursday. This Thanksgiving Thursday would feature a Bears game for our viewing delight. If you’ve been watching this year, it’s been anything but that. In fact, I was afraid these turkeys would embarrass us on national TV and ruin my fricking Thanksgiving. Well, OK, nothing is going to stop me from eating multiple plates of turkey and sides, but you get my drift. I wasn’t convinced that the Bears could beat the Lions, even with what would be their 3rd string QB; it’s just been that kind of year. I have zero confidence right now, but as always, hope for the best. Thankfully, the Bears would provide something else to be thankful for on this day…
