Everybody plays like turkeys now and then. My son saw the title, and he asked what this means; he said turkeys are good. Yes, turkeys are good, well, they taste really good; I hope to have my fill today and the next week for that matter. On the other hand, playing like turkeys is not good. I feel like a turkey sometimes too, or maybe a donkey. You just put stuff on auto-drive and BAM… something goes wrong. You hope to flip the switch on and off… you hope to ride out the bad run… it doesn’t always work like that. You just can’t expect to wake up in the morning and to have things go your way. Believe me, I’ve tried.
No, the Bulls certainly did not take the Rockets seriously. I don’t care so much about one loss in November, but it’s the mindset that is the cause for concern. Although maybe the Bulls are still under the radar a bit in the big scheme of things, it’s no secret that they are a very good team; we’ve seen that thus far this season. I love it. The moves that were made to build this team have worked, thus far, but I fully expect this to continue, and for the Bulls to make the playoffs, AND make some noise when they get there. Sure, the Bulls should believe all of this too, but they shouldn’t let it go to their heads. “Don’t let it go to your head now….” They are not THAT good where they can just take the court and check that win box.
