OK, let’s get back to Theo leaving the Cubs. Yeah, he’s gone, not sure if I’m over that yet. However, the fact that Jed Hoyer has taken the reigns, and has now been extended for 5 years, makes me feel a little better. Theo’s wingman said all the right things in his press conference. Being with Theo all these years has to be a good thing, yet I’m sure he’s his own man, and that’s OK. It’s a different world than what Theo inherited 9 years ago. Blow it up, keep it together, some type of hybrid solution, trade him, keep him… it’s not going to be easy, but I’d rather have some sort of continuity than somebody totally brand new. Yep, it’s Jed’s World and we’re all living in it.
I remember saying that recently… oh yeah, when I said Jerry’s world in reference to the LaRussa hire by the White Sox. That has gone quiet now. Good job by Reinsdorf, and frankly the NFL season, letting all that fizzle out, although once we start talking baseball again, it will be back; it’s not going away unless the White Sox just start winning everything once the season under a microscope begins for them. But like I told you, Tony will be the manager whether you like it or not. The manager is one position Jed does not have to worry about. David Ross will be back and rightfully so in my opinion. Can’t put the blame him… yet, especially in the shortened season; we need to see a full 162 of David to get a true opinion. I’ve said this before though too. Managing the pitching staff is one of the most important jobs and Ross should be pretty good at that. There will always be questions; I’m still with Rossy.

Erectile dysfunction (ED), also known as impotence, is the pop-a-pill cialis uk purchased that.Jed will have to hire a replacement for himself, and if I remember correctly, he will look to the outside here. I’m good with that too. You have the head guy returning, providing continuity. You bring in some new blood with some new perspective. We can only hope that Jed and this person work as well together as Theo and Jed did. We can only hope that this new team will make the right decisions as the Cubs try to move forward, and capitalize on their perennial playoff appearances. Just saying “perennial playoff appearances” is crazy, but that’s what Theo helped build. Theo walked into the perennial loser culture and flipped it on its head. Jed takes over a consistent winner, but one that has only finished the job one time. We need more World Series titles. Will we see this under Jed’s watch?
Let the trade rumors begin. There are 5 suitors for KB. The Yankees need a left handed slugger; does Schwarbs fit the bill? Yep, we’ve heard it all before; the noise will be, and should be, even louder than it has before. I gave my opinions on that, but I don’t know what’s really right; these will not be easy decisions. There will be folks that like it, there will be criticism, but I will say this. The Cubs have come up short with this team in each of the 4 years since 2016; something needs to change. Good luck Jed. We will support you until we don’t. Just win… just win. Go Cubs.
