November 12, 2018: Flying High Part 2

I don’t think I could have asked for a better first Bears game for my son.  Like I said, it’s hard to put these feelings into words.  Yeah, it’s so much more than just a Bears game… it’s that father son bonding experience.  It’s this time I spend with my son that I hope he never forgets, regardless if this time is spent on the floor of his room searching for Lego pieces, or like this Sunday, at Soldier Field cheering on the first place Bears.

Did you see the interview with that guy that lost his son in the California shooting last week?  I couldn’t even imagine…  I can barely even type these words when I think about it… So tragic, so senseless.  There’s too much of this going on in today’s world; so many things that don’t make sense.  I kind of wish you could just snap your fingers and fix them; I think maybe I can be doing more to make this world a better place to live.  What can I do?  I always default back to being the best husband and father that I can; that’s a big enough job, yes?  If together, my wife and I can do a good job raising our child, we are helping the world.  If everyone spent quality time with their children, teaching them right from wrong, the world would be a better place, right?  Of course there’s so much more to it…  maybe I need to start a new series of blogs…

Point is, I cherish every moment with my son.  Who knows what the future will hold; I could walk out of work today and never make it home.  I’m not afraid of that, nor can we live in fear of bad things happening, but we can embrace that reality; life is not guaranteed.  Can’t believe I’m getting so deep here… Let’s get back to the game for God’s sake.

It is not tadalafil online cheap only convenient but it is fast as well. This is why national health society has generic levitra taken this matter as serious concern and has increased awareness among young males too. One of the main reasons behind a man’s inability in viagra buy germany attaining or maintaining an erection for sexual satisfaction is emotional disturbances. One of the most worrying trends of our modern society is sildenafil wholesale the decreasing threshold age for andropause. It was a thorough ass kicking.  Yeah, the score was closer than the actual game was; this game was over by the half.  It was great!  I told my son that after every Bears TD, they play the song “Bear Down”… I thought… what if they don’t score at his first game; that would really suck.  Well, 5 TDs later, I think my son knows most of the words, plus I got a priceless video of him dancing to the song, high fiving a drunk Bears fan in front of us.  It was amazing.

I had dodged getting him a souvenir too… Going into the Bears store when we got there, he pointed out a half dozen things… none of them cheap.  I told him, they’ll go on your Christmas list.  He wasn’t too happy, but he got over it.  We passed by those little stands as we walked around; more Christmas list items… he was a bit disappointed.  But, after the game, the glorious Bears game, we made one more stop…  Yeah, I bought him a $35 Staley stuffed Bear… haha.  When he said he was going to bring it to school tomorrow, I knew this went into the category of some of the best money that I could spend.

I left there flying high, let me tell you.  When my wife picked us up, I told her how good it was.  Once I get the ticket stubs in the mail and his first timer certificate, I’ll need to pick out a picture and frame it all for him.  It will go right next to the certificate and ticket stub from his first Cubs game back a little more than 6 years ago.  The last of the first ones is in the books.  Bear Down!

Just thinking. My first Cub game was at Wrigley Field in 1962. I was 7. My Aunt Vi took me. Still remember it.

Flying high in life and as a Bears fan! Great first Bears game memories made and a big W to go with it…can’t beat it! The Bears thoroughly stomped the lions. As it has been in the last few blowouts, the Bears D start to play soft and allow them to walk down the field and get some late points. All good, though, just keep winning! Biggest game of the year coming up vs the vikequeens. Still not real happy with Howard’s lack of involvement, but I guess I can’t complain considering how good MTru and the offense has been. Just thinking ahead to colder, messier, bigger pressure games where the Bears will need to lean on Howard and pound the rock. At 6-3, the Bears are still in first place. A win this Sunday night vs the vikequeens would give them a 2 game lead in the division with 6 games to go. How sweet would that be? Good to see a healthy Mack back giving stafford hell, and how about the game from Mr. Robinson..welcome back to him, too! MTru has been great and only seems to be getting better…man, could it be? There is 1 guy who did not perform too well vs the lions. I have a feeling there is more to come on him…hahaha! BEAR DOWN!!!
