November 11, 2016: Week 10 Bears at Bucs Preview

posted in: Bears | 1

Finally back to some Bears talk… and no, I’m not that excited about it.  Wait, before that… Happy Veterans Day to all those Veterans out there; thank you!  OK, back to the Bears… I will tell you that I was absolutely shocked the way they played on Halloween, which because it was between Games 5 & 6 of the World Series, I caught a good chunk of it.  I was extra excited because I needed a miracle to come back in my fantasy matchup that week, and I had Jordan Howard; boom!  Things have been rolling pretty good when it comes to sports…

Will the Bears continue that this week?  Some bettors certainly think so.  A game which opened with Tampa Bay being a slight 1 point favorite has now swung 3 points; Bears are actually a 2 point road favorite for this one.  Why?

Is it because Jay is back?  The one guy I’m waiting for to play his last game in a Bears uniform actually played well on MNF.  We’ve seen that before… in flashes.  Jay has had his good games with us; he’s had some very nice moments.  Unfortunately, those are usually short lived, either due to injury or the turnover bug or because of the offensive line or because of his supporting cast or because of any other reason other than Jay just being an inconsistent asshole.  Maybe he has one more run of good games left in him.  Maybe he will lead the Bears to a long winning streak and get us on the brink of playoff contention right before blowing it.  OK, I’ll stop.  I’m happy to see the Bears win, and that’s all that counts.  This Sunday in Tampa is a winnable game.

The defense looked great too on MNF.  They’ve been OK for the most part… actually creeping up the NFL in defensive rankings.  For the most part, they’re young and learning the system and learning to play together.  This I like to see.  I think this is the big reason we win Sunday.  I actually picked up the Bears defense this week.  To be clear, I did this because I dropped the Cardinals defense the week before because of the bye week, picked up San Diego who did great for me, lost out on a waiver claim to get the Cardinals defense back, and thought the Bears would be the better choice over the Chargers this week.  Still, go Bears D!

I feel like I’m totally out of it this football season.  With the Cubs run and all…  it’s time to zone back in.  I’m never truly out of it, but I’m definitely not as zoned in as I have been in past years.  Yet, there is still half the season to go.  At 2-6, the second half of the season MUST be better for the Bears.  I know it’s mathematically possible that it could be worse, but.. there’s no way.  Could they flip the script and go 6-2 this half?  That would still only be 500 for the year, but hell.. with the start they had, that would carry some positive momentum into next year, and possibly save some folks’ jobs.  Whatever the 2nd half goals are, it starts with a win vs Tampa.  They need to win this game.

Another benefit to taking the super antioxidant Acai berry is that it contains levitra tablets oleic acid that promotes the health of the heart and it also contributes to healthy penile erection. Being a generic version of buy levitra http://pamelaannschoolofdance.com/make-up-guide/, it follows the same strict procedures in manufacturing as that of its equivalent brand, with identical effects; only Kamagra tablets are more affordable. This is something that is said over and over, but most men do not need to consult the doctor as the buy viagra device can help gaining an erection in quite natural ways. The buy levitra no prescription condition was serious because people failed to make proper and appropriate erections. Final Score Prediction

Bears 31 Bucs 17

Ace in the Hole

Jordan Howard (of course)- 100 plus total yards and 2 TDs

So I’m picking them… that’s certainly the kiss of death.  Wait, no.  If we’ve learned anything from the Cubs World Series title, if I’ve learned anything, it’s that my picks have nothing to do with the final outcome.  So I won’t feel bad if the Bears lose after I picked them.  I will feel bad if they lose, but not because I picked them.  Whatever, you get it.  Looking forward to watching this one.  Looking forward to seeing another win.  Haven’t said this in a long time… Bear Down!

Bears D is definitely improved this year. Howard seems like a gem out the rough from Indiana. Cutler plays a decent game, and what do you know, the Bears win! At 2-6, this season is going nowhere. I kind of hope cutler goes down or plays bad so the Bears dont make a useless 2nd half run…is that wrong? Feels weird typing that but just being honest. What is the point of making a useless run to save jobs that should not be saved? Either way, Bears win this week.

    Bears 24-13
Bears D gets the job done with 3turnovers and 3+sacks.

    BEAR DOWN!!!
