November 10, 2019: The Sound of Winning

posted in: Bears | 1

Well what do you know… the Bears actually won a fricking game on Sunday.  Long time coming, overdue, miracle on the lake, sun shines on every dog’s ass once in a while… I don’t know, call it what you will, but a win is a win, and I will F-ing take it!

Let me just say, if Matthew Stafford plays, we probably lose this game.  But he didn’t, so… suck it Lions fans… and all Bears fans bitching about a win.  Seriously.  Turn on the radio on the way home, multiple post game shows, and nobody was happy.  You had Hampton and OB absolutely ripping into the team, still.  You had Hub saying he felt worse about this team after this win than the previous loss.  This is the sound of winning?

Look, I get it… the Bears didn’t do anything to make me believe they are back… really back.  Although yes, I did check the standings after this win.  Still, I realize the postseason is still a long shot.  But hey, a win is a GD win, and in the NFL, that’s not easy; ask the Bengals.  No, I’m not taking it for granted.  It’s the first week since September that’s started with a Bears win; you know how tough it is to come to work on a Monday every week for a month after a Bears loss?  I’m sure you do… it’s bad enough that the weekend is over, and you have to go back to work, but then you have to do so after this Bears preseason hype train losing another game they should have won?!?!  I was in a bad place…

The great endeavor of Ajanta Pharmacy brought an effective generic ED sildenafil online india medicine. This medication has no serious long term side generico viagra on line effects. We raindogscine.com levitra 40 mg use cosmetics, detergents that are full of toxic substances. By psychological I mean the cialis cost canada mental situations in which men don’t want sex for some reasons.

And yes, like all the sports voices in this city, I’m not in a good place per se… but you better believe it’s a better place than I was a week ago; the Bears are in a better place as well.  Not their fault Stafford didn’t play… no, they made sure to make the backup feel at home, letting him march right down the field and give the Lions a 3-0 lead.  Here we go… we’re going to let this backup QB beat us now???  If we didn’t have a nail in our coffin already, that would have been it.  Yeah, Trubisky even had a few nice passes in this game.  That touch pass to the TE for the 1st TD was the type of pass he has missed on all year.  He threw 3 total on the day, which was much appreciated.  You OK now Mitchy?  Will you be able to watch the TV this week?  Just play football dammit, and make some throws, and help this team win.  Stop being a baby.  Let’s try to build on this win.

Next week will be in LA on Sunday night to face the Rams on primetime.  Great… just another chance for the national media to see the Bears and rip us… Nagy, Trubisky, Pace, the offense, the defense, Pagano, Piniero… take your pick.  Yet, it presents a great opportunity for us.  We play one of the teams ahead of us in the way too early wild card race.  If you want all of us to start believing you’re back, you need to win this game.  Yeah, I hate the whole “must-win” game thing, especially when the math doesn’t say it.  But when you have to possibly go 6-1 from here on out to get in… the math is pretty damn close.  The Bears MUST WIN on Sunday night.  Do that, and we’ll talk… more positively.  Do it not, and… well…  if you thought it was bad when we won…  Let’s start stringing them together.  Bear Down!
