March 14, 2016: Monday Madness

posted in: Blackhawks, Bulls | 2

Jumping back in now… Monday was action packed.  Before we get there, what about Sunday?

The 68 teams were selected for the NCAA tourney, and again, there were no Illinois teams.  I wrote about that last year in detail here:  http://www.thelocalsportstalk.com/march-17-2015-the-missing-state/  It is a sad state, and now Comcast is doing a special on it.  I’m curious to watch it, and get some other opinions on what is wrong and how it gets fixed.

As far as the 68 teams that did make it, I have no clue on who to pick.  I’m using the Vegas odds for Round 1 to try to zone in on some upsets.  I do like to pick my share…  Won’t be in Vegas for this one, so that sucks, but I will try to see some of the Thursday and Friday games.  I may have to blow off a meeting or two, but we’ll try to make that happen.  The bracket sheet this year has went up from $10 to $20; if I participate, there will be some more dead money in the pool.  Not sure who I’m picking all the way, but I’d like to see somebody other than Kansas or Michigan State or North Carolina.  I’d be OK with OK… think that may be my choice.

The entire sexual pleasure comes with four chemicals: Testosterone: It gives the desire for sex Dopamine: Control the sexual desire Serotonin: Control the satisfaction levels Acetylcholine: Provides the feeling of excitement after and before sex. http://pharma-bi.com/2010/05/ sildenafil discount There are several erectile dysfunction drugs available to cure erectile dysfunction; however, it is now being used in the topical cream for female sexual dysfunction? There are many oral impotence medicines available in the market in tablet and jelly state at reasonable prices. levitra online canada But that’s just a matter of opinion because for many online prescription cialis men who are unhappy with their midsection, there is a solution to your problem. On the NBA court Monday night, the Bulls continued their ownership of the Raptors.  One of the biggest stories coming out of that game was Drake sitting courtside talking crap… who gives a crap?  I would do the same exact thing if I had the money to sit in those seats.  The bigger story is that the Bulls have now beat the Raptors 9 straight times, and haven’t lost to them since 2013.  So… if the Bulls hang on and make the playoffs… and if they can secure the 7 seed… this is the first round matchup.  And based on the history, and if the Bulls can be somewhat healthy, although they certainly weren’t last night, I’ll take my chances.

The Hawks meanwhile look to be ready for the postseason.  They appeared to be in that end of the regular season rut, just waiting for the playoffs to begin mode.  The Kings spanked them 5-0 at the UC.  Actually heading to my first Hawks game in 2 years on Wednesday night; I’m just glad it wasn’t this game.  They didn’t even play the song once!  Not worried at all about the Hawks… in fact, I feel the same way… let’s just get the playoffs started.  We all know what to do then.  Playoff beards baby!

It’s a fun time for sports, with March Madness, the Hawks and Bulls closing in on the playoffs, the Cubs and Sox closing in on opening day, and the Bears actually doing something good in the offseason.  This Monday madness was just the first example of many crazy days ahead.  I can’t wait.

don’t think you need to worry ’bout n.c. going anywhere. i’m bettin’ they don’t make the final 4. haven’t even looked at the brackets yet, just not on the n.c. wagon this year.

I am all for some new blood!
Bulls own the raps. Now if only they could start owning anyone else, or even owning their home court again like MJ’s Bulls did.
Not worried about the Hawks. Get healthy and lined up with the new guys so come playoff time, fear the feathers and the Blackhawk beards! Road to repeat starting soon.
