March 1, 2016: Leaping

posted in: Bulls | 1

Last we spoke we were leaping… Leaping into that last bonus day of February, now we leap into March.  Speaking about leaping…  Who remembers Leaping Lanny Poffo?

Yes, I remember him from the WWF days… before the World Wildlife Federation made them change the F to an E… or something like that.  He was sort of a bum, but a regular bum wrestler.  Much less popular than his older brother Randy Poffo… better known as Randy Macho Man Savage.  They do have a Chicago connection also, growing up in Downers Grove, IL.  Yes, not quite Chicago, but everybody in Illinois within 100 miles claims they’re from Chicago, so it’s all good.  How did we get here?

Talking about leaping… thought maybe I took a leap into the abyss with no posted blog in days.  How did that happen?  No worries though my select handful of readers and 20 plus Twitter followers.  We’re back.  All is well.  Haven’t been writing, but I certainly have been watching.  Let’s get current.

I hate to start off with more bad news, but let’s talk a little Bulls.  Talk about leaping into the abyss.  They’re headed to hell in a handbag as the saying goes.  They opened the month on the road in Miami, and it wasn’t pretty.  70 something points given up in the paint.  100 plus points given up again.  67.5% from the field for the Heat; a franchise worst for the Bulls!  Yeah, Rose was back, but so what.  We got pounded again.  Now only 1 game above 500, as we headed across the state of Florida to Orlando the next night.

I generally, in fact almost never, talk about games that happened after the date of the blog, but we’ll do that now.  We’ll still stale date this puppy too in order to keep the blog a day thing going, even if it is a couple days behind.  I’m probably the only one that cares about that… trying to stick to my thing.  The Bulls stuck to their thing, and lost again.  Now they are .500 and sitting outside of the playoffs.  W. O. W…. and no, that does not mean Wonderful Women of Wrestling.  It means Why Oh Why!
Erections in men occur after sexual stimulation Premature Ejaculation – early semen ejection during coition Infertility – low sperm count buy generic levitra look at this store These intimate issues directly hamper sexual performance. The reason I got the intension to write this cialis generic 10mg article came as a result of a football match which in some parts of the world is called a soccer match. “Look at him, he runs as if he is afflicted with andropause” a spectator referred to one of the players and we all laughed. Don’t break, or pulverize the tablet before taking the medication viagra online mastercard for the treatment of erectile dysfunction. And it has the functions of clearing away heat and toxic materials and invigorating the female viagra buy spleen to damp elimination.
That’s 15 straight games of giving up over 100 points!?!  The Bulls gave up 100 points in 25 straight games in the 85-86 season.  That was the season where MJ broke his ankle, and missed most of the year; his 2nd year in the league.  He did end it pretty memorably with a 63 point playoff performance in the Garden against the mighty Celtics.  By the way, speaking off greatest teams in the NBA, did somebody say the 1986 Celtics should be included in that conversation?  If so, that one playoff game should serve as an example of why they wouldn’t stand a chance against the 90s Bulls; we’ll get back to them in a few blogs.  Back to this version, and the suckage that continues.

It’s pretty sad, but shouldn’t be that surprising.  I’m not going to mention the whole Thibs thing, but I will mention what hampered his success is the same thing screwing the Bulls up this year; injuries.  Thibs had to coach the Bulls with their best player hurt most of the time.  Fredberg has been coaching lately with his 4 best players hurt.  Rose, Butler, Noah, and Niko were out for a number of games.  Rose is back, but still… that’s a lot of firepower to be missing… not to mention they traded Hinrich.  Ha…

It hasn’t been pretty, but I’m not going to continue bashing them.  Let’s see them get healthy and let’s see if they can make a run.  They should be able to hang with anybody outside Cleveland; they could also get their asses handed to them by ANY team in the NBA on any given night.  I’m trying to mellow out on them… I’m trying to control my frustration.  I don’t want to leap in the gutter with them…  Let’s talk about a happier subject.

Bulls need to get healthy and show some pride in playing defense. 15 straight games giving up over 100 points is ridiculous, but that is what the nba is turning into…no defense just like that joke of an all star game. Heard buckets might be returning this saturday…not a game too soon as the Bulls are at .500 and out of the playoffs with 22 games to go. Time to get somewhat healthy and go on a roll to get the 7th seed or higher.
