June 20, 2016: Trying Not To Hate

posted in: Bulls | 1

So like I said, with the Cubs doing so well, I don’t care about anything else going on in the sports world.  Of course, I know what’s going on, and will talk about all my Chicago teams, but as far as the national scene, which I was never too big on anyways, I don’t care.  I watched 1 minute of Game 7 of the NBA Finals.

Maybe it’s my way of trying not to hate.  I figure if I just ignore it, then I won’t get riled up.  After all, it’s really not that serious anyways.  The Cavs finally winning an NBA title.  Cleveland finally getting a sports title after 52 years is something I would typically be happy about.  I root for the teams that haven’t won in forever; it’s not that hard to figure out why.  Yet, this specific team, I could never root for… as long as the Queen is playing for them.

That minute that I did watch was late, when the Cavs were up 92-89.  LeBum got fouled going to the hoop and laid on the floor writhing in pain…. typical.  Let me explain.  Since then, I’ve seen some highlights… the only reason for that was because I was at a graduation dinner and sat in front of a TV on ESPN.  If it wasn’t for that, maybe I wouldn’t have even seen any of this stuff.  There’s been a lot of conversation too.  I heard LeBum was crying… very emotional too.  For someone whose entire career seems staged, like his move to Miami, like his return to Cleveland when he made sure other moves were made (Kevin Love), like his ousting of the coach, and someone who seems so phony, flopping all over the court, or someone who seems so not-tough, like whining about what was said to him on the court, it’s hard to believe anything he says or does.  So when he was crying after winning this title, how real was that?  Was it real emotion?  It’s like the boy crying wolf… should we finally believe this is real?  After all, I heard how he laid on the court crying, like someone else did 20 years ago for completely different reasons.  I heard that he looked up to make sure the cameras were on him, then continued crying.  Staged?

Some may have the same thoughts about the entire NBA Finals.  Was this series fixed?  Most of the big games across the sports have some degree of that.  For all the games except this one to be blowouts one way or another, certainly makes one wonder.  For the foul calls, the suspension, and the poor play by the Warriors down the stretch, it certainly comes into play.  But… maybe the Warriors just choked.  This, my friends, is the silver lining of this whole thing.

Diagnosis :- Diagnosis of yellow fever is difficult since this disease can be easily confused with malaria or dengue fever. canadian levitra online Limit alcohol intake There is no strong evidence stating that oral cheapest generic cialis ED drugs decrease the risk of heart attack or stroke. Erectile dysfunctions are very common in men and can be witnessed in men of any age levitra sale group and capacity. Yes, I was rooting for the Warriors, but I can’t say I’m that mad to see them lose.  Now we can stop all this nonsense of them being compared to the 95-96 Bulls.  There was never a doubt in my mind who the better team was; I said that any of the Bulls championship teams would have defeated this team.  And now, after seeing them blow it, and not topping off that unfortunate 73 win regular season with a ring, they’re not crap.  File them with the other great regular season teams like the undefeated Patriots.  Enough of that crap.

So I’m really trying not to hate on Ms. James.  Why should I?  He’s not a thug.  He doesn’t get in trouble.  He’s a family man.  He donates to the Boys & Girls club, which is where I grew up.  He won a title for his hometown team, something I thought someone else would do for my hometown team.  Yes, I’m really trying to talk myself out of this.

I don’t think I will ever like LeBron.  I hated Kobe for most of his career before I finally had a little respect for him.  I never said he couldn’t play… I never questioned his basketball playing ability… the guy is truly a beast.  But, now here will come the MJ comparisons, and just like the Warrior comparisons, this one too is ridiculous… and this is one of the reasons that I do hate.  MJ never flopped.  MJ never lost in the NBA Finals; LeBum is still 3-4.  MJ wasn’t phony.  MJ was very tough.  I can go on, but I won’t.

I guess I’m happy a little bit for the city of Cleveland.  They can now celebrate a title after so many years, and that’s not so bad, even if it was brought to them by someone whose jersey they were burning not so long ago.  That’s just how us crazy sports fans roll I guess.  But as far as the Queen, I still can’t stand his ass.  Do I respect him, like he says all of his haters must do?  No… not yet.  After all, shouldn’t the real MVP of this series have been Kyrie Irving?

Sorry dubs, but your 73-9 season has no ring on top. Congrats cleveland and the die hard fans that have been waiting for so long for a championship. Unfortunately, the queen led the cavs past the dubs. I cant believe the dubs blew a 3-1 lead, losing 2 games at home, including game 7, especially after blowing out the cavs in games 1&2. Something smelled fishy about this whole series. The bogus foul calls on curry, who happens to be the mvp…wow. The suspension of green for basically doing nothing. All games not being close except game 7. The queen acting like the punk bitch he is…whining, complaining, crying about being called a bitch (truth hurts huh?), acting like he got hurt, and now winning the mvp of the finals after irving bails his ass out again with a trey ball, just like ray allen did in miami. This punk never hits the big shots. Yes, he had a huge series, but best ever? Please. Best player ever with a 3-4 finals record and no big shots? PLEASE. This clown is like polar opposites…a beast on the court and a punk at the same time, depends on the day and game. And who sends out a message after winning the finals to all his haters?!? Seriously!?! This guy is so sensitive to the truth so here is some of it…lebum, you are not and will never be the greatest…enjoy all your stats and your 3 rings and work on your next plan to get more guys around you to help and hit the big shots that you should be…fraudulent!
