OK, back to the future odds.  Next up, the good old N to the F to the L.

I’m sure everybody can guess who the favorites are to win the Super Bowl.  The team we all love to hate.  No, not the Packers;  yes, we do hate them, but no… it’s the team from Boston.  The Patriots at 7-1 sit atop the leaderboard for the 2019 Super Bowl.  Go figure.

Isn’t this reign of terror, the B&B era almost over?  Enough is enough already.  Bad enough they’re so good, but they cheat too.  Can’t wait to see them getting pounded again; a final score of 46-10 has a nice ring to it.

So that was easy, but the 2nd favorite, not so much.  Go ahead.  Think about it for a minute.  Who is this mystery team at 8-1 to win this year’s Super Bowl?  I don’t think I would have guessed it.  No, it’s not the Bears… haha.

The Los Angeles Rams!  Yeah, crazy right?  I know they took a big jump last year, but to take the leap all the way to champions this year???  Like I said in my baseball post, Vegas does know what they’re talking about.  That money must be pouring in on the Rams.  That’s a pass for me.

Trubisky time!  Yeah, we’re all in love with Mitch.  With the addition of a new coaching staff and some new talent on offense, the return of Vic and the boys on defense, we have plenty to be excited about this year.  We’re not alone.  The Bears are the team whose odds improved more than any other team.  The opening odds on the Bears winning the Super Bowl were 80-1…they now sit at 45-1.  The Bears are always a popular team, but this year the hype may be real.  I mean, maybe not Super Bowl champion real… yet… but, why not a playoff team this year?

Got a few Go Bears out in Vegas, like I always do.  Wearing any type of Chicago gear will usually get some recognition from the heavy Chicago presence in Vegas.  Whether they are transplants or just folks that piled in the plane to come for vacation, there is never a shortage of Chicago in the house.  That’s why there should be a Chicago based casino out in Vegas…

There’s New York New York… so why not Chicago?  Have the skyscrapers make up the hotel.  You could have themes of all the sports teams in the casino.  There will be no shortage of restaurants to plop in there either.  Throw in some Al Capone… an Oprah and Jerry Springer themed show… and you got one heck of a casino.

Yeah, I didn’t put any dough on the Bears, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have big expectations for this year.  It may take another year or two, but to not make the playoffs this year would be a mild disappointment.  Bear Down!
