January 9, 2019: Recovery Aids

posted in: Bears | 1

The recovery process continues… I’m feeling a little bit better; I’m not as angry as I was yesterday.  The fact that Alabama got wiped out makes me smile.  There are some other things that will help me; let’s call them my recovery aids.  Here we go:

The Bears release Parkey–>  I don’t care what we owe him.  He failed at his job, over and over again this year, including in the biggest moment.  It’s not personal; it’s strictly business.  Cut our losses, swallow our pride, and make up for one of the mistakes you’ve made Pace: cut Parkey and re-sign Gould.  Cody was the weakest link on this team, and it cost us.

Vic Fangio stays with the Bears–>  It looks like the Broncos are going another direction; the Dolphins declined to interview him.  Frankly, it’s their loss.  And their loss is our gain.  Love Vic, and if I know a little bit about him, I don’t think he wants to go out like this.  If we had won it all, different story.  We have unfinished business; he should be part of reaching the ultimate goal.  This defense was awesome this year, and guess what, they can be better!

Obese women are less likely to have successful IVF from their own eggs (and not donor eggs), due to poorer egg quality. free sample cialis It has been observed that almost eighty percent of erectile dysfunction cases arise due to physical factors online viagra can cause it and this can be very traumatic. As a matter of viagra online for women fact, it is advisable to consult your doctor immediately. One of the most cialis shop broadly prescribed medicines is Sildenafil Citrate (Fildena).

The Eagles lose–>  How quickly my mode changes… I watched every damn game this weekend; I was so hyped up about the playoffs because of our boys.  The minute they lost, means football is dead to me for the rest of this year.  Now I switch to rooting for teams to lose, and there’s no other team that I would love to see fall flat on their face than the Eagles.  Sure, I would love to see the Patriots (self-explanatory), the Cowboys (never liked them), and the Colts (never forget the Super Bowl loss) lose too… in that order, with the lucky ass Eagles being number one.  That leaves the Saints, Rams, Chargers, and Chiefs as the teams I wouldn’t mind winning, but would prefer they just cancelled the rest of the playoffs at this point.

Let’s just stop talking about Parkey already, OK?  Blocked kick now?  Who gives a shit?  You know, when he followed through with that first kick (of course he made that one) when the Eagles called timeout… that showed he wasn’t confident.  Because in the first half, the Eagles did the same thing, and he stopped himself.  And another thing… I wish some team would have come in here and kicked our ass; that’s what I would have liked to see.  Really dominate us start to finish… the thing is, nobody did that all year… the thing is, nobody would have done that in the playoffs either… the Eagles surely didn’t; lucky ass bastards.  It just sucks to go out that way.

The last couple days I’ve talked with so many people about the Bears… everybody is shocked, everybody is pissed.  It feels good to share that pain with everyone… I’m not alone.  Of course I see all the stuff online too.  I’m almost to the point of talking about the silver lining here… but not yet… not yet.  Until then, I’ll keep recovering; all you can do is take it day by day.  I’ve been wearing my Chicago Cubs 2016 gear; that makes me feel warm and fuzzy… remembering that is definitely helping me march ahead.  If you’re a Sox fan, go ahead and throw that 2005 gear on… if it still fits you.  Or maybe some gear from the Hawks 3 recent Cups.  Or maybe that 90s Bulls stuff.  Let’s try to get back to a happy place.  I’m trying… not there yet, but we’re making progress.  Good luck to us all!

Recovering…sure. Not watching or reading anything about football right now. Just can’t and don’t want to hear about any of the other teams and their chances. I hate the iggles and cannot wait for them to get stomped this weekend. Toss the cowgirls and colts in as well. Those 3 losses would be the trifecta for me. parkey needs to go, I don’t care how…we all know why. Vic? Would love for him to stay and finish what he started. I was so glad Nagy kept him this year and it paid off greatly. Just wonder if a head coaching position would pull him away. Cannot believe I can’t keep wearing Bears gear…seems too early to stop that. This season ended too abruptly. The Bears should be getting ready to give the rams dosage #2 this year. But, it was not to be. Maybe this will be one of those losses that propels DA Bears over the top next year. I sure hope so. Talking about this is good. Feeling a bit better. What’s next?
