Who saw this coming? How about everybody? The Bulls coming off a big win falter at home to a team they should have beat. It’s pretty typi-Bull.
It’s pretty frustrating being a Bulls fan these days. Every regular season is a roller coaster, but this year those dips seem worse. Maybe we should put stock in the Bulls record against the top teams in the league. Besides losing two to the Warriors, they’ve beaten all the other top teams…even the Spurs. This should bode well come playoff time? Yeah, maybe, but what about their 500 record against the rest of the league?
I watched the beginning and end of this game. I guess I should check Twitter to see what happened to Rose. Hold on.. Ok, lower back and hamstring. Talk about another example of typical. About to start on a 7 game road trip, how many will Derrick play? Why is this always a question?
One answer that we do know is to the question how does D-wade play in Chicago. He kills us. He seems to kick it in gear in front of his hometown, like a lot of players do. I think of Tony Allen who plays out of his mind in Chicago; why don’t we pick him up. Will Bynum has played well in front of the Chi. I usually like Chicago guys.

One guy that I didn’t and can’t stand to this day is that number 11 I forgot about, Isaiah Thomas. Another guy I used to like, but don’t now is Wade. He was in the middle of that LBJ production…acting like he was going to come to Chicago when he had no intention. Maybe that’s the business, but felt like he just played us. Then to see him team up with king jackass, zero chance to like him any more. Being back to just the regular Heat, the hate doesn’t flow as much towards Dwayne. But when he kills us every time he plays us, yeah, bastard!
So another loss that I’m sure Hoiberg is looking forward to explaining. Then the Rose injury questions…I’m sure that’s one thing his predecessor doesn’t miss. Out to the west coast now; how many of the 7 do they win?
Considering only 1 game is against a team over 500, I’m going with 3. I’m looking forward to some late games, if I can stay up, but am not confident in the results. I’d like to see this team play well consistently, but that just wouldn’t be typi-Bull, but who wants to be typical anyways? Let’s go boys…good luck on that road trip; I fear you’ll need it.

Drose is and has been done. He has 1 more year left…maybe he should retire after that, but someone will give him good money, I just hope it is not the Bulls. From hometown draft pick to hometown bust. Yes, injuries got him, but does it really matter? He was supposed to lead the Bulls to a title. Does anyone think that any more? The team isn’t even his anymore. It really is a shame. See if anyone is interested starting this year. Whatever the Bulls can get for him has to be better than what they will deal with this next year and a half. This window is just about slammed shut. Maybe it has been for awhile, but we are just in denial. Time to open our eyes and see reality. Like Robert De Niro in A Bronx Tale says, the saddest thing in life is wasted talent. That is exactly what this Bulls team and their hometown boy have been, and that is the sad reality of things!
