January 25, 2017: Bulls Go Boom

posted in: Bulls | 1

Well, it finally happened.  Some of the frustration boiled over after blowing a late 10 point lead on Wednesday night to the Hawks at the UC.  Some F bombs were dropped, and the damage was done.  What comes next?

I had to wait to write this… kind of needed to take it all in.  I watched the final couple minutes.  Before the collapse, I was proud of the Bulls.  They bounced back after their ass whipping in Atlanta, and paid them back.  They would finally beat this team, after losing 6 straight under FredBerg to the Hawks.  Wade and Butler both had great games.  The Bulls would be over 500 again.  And then, the wheels came off.

I didn’t like what Wade said in the locker room.  I know we have to give him some sort of benefit of the doubt, some “cred” because he has rings, but to call out your teammates like that… that was rough.  I do like to see the passion; we love that here in Chicago.  I do think people should be called out.  I just don’t think it was right to do it to the media.  I know it was a brutal loss, and the interview was right after… but come on Dwyane, you should know better.

And then Jimmy follows suit?  I thought Wade could help teach Butler to become a leader.  I’m not sure if this was the proper lesson.  There is a ton of frustration I’m sure… believe me, we as fans feel it, but to say your teammates “don’t want it” is a pretty big deal.

I’ve questioned the effort before… of the WHOLE TEAM; that means Butler and Wade are included.  Wednesday night was the first time Wade played back to back games.  We’re saving his body for what exactly?  If he wants everybody out there busting their hump, show us how Dwade. Then there’s Butler. It’s hard to criticize anything he does on the court. The guy gives his all every night on both sides of the court. But he does have one major flaw.

However many men around the world are not able cost viagra online to enjoy the best time of your life. But it comes off a bit disingenuous when one eschews a victory cialis buy cute-n-tiny.com lap while lacing up his sneakers. A simple Glucose check viagra cheap can confirm this. This could be due to illnesses like diabetes or high purchasing viagra cholesterol. We all do.  This doesn’t mean Buckets is a bad guy; he’s just not a good leader. He took the queue from Wade to rip his team publicly…not good. Before that, he showed how much he respects Fredberg. Did you see the clip?

Yeah, the one where Fredberg said to call timeout and Butler looked at him like he was an idiot, and said “What? No!”  Cameras are always on Jimmy. Although you may be right about Fredberg being an idiot, to show that disrespect to the coach isn’t cool. If the best player on the team doesn’t respect him, why should anyone else?  Not leader type stuff.

Then there was the Rondo response… wow.  Trying to expedite his way out of this mess, Rondo ripped into Jimmy and Dwyane. He did have a point.  But who’s fault is all this really?

The guys that put this mess together and the guy who can’t coach them. This shit has slid down hill quickly.  It was a dysfunctional team from the start. One built on total contradictions. Are you surprised this happened?

Yep, the Bulls go boom!  Or maybe you refer to it as a dumpster fire; I like that. Either way you look at it, whoever you try to defend, whichever player or players you think are to blame, think bigger. Been saying this for a while now…this rebuild shouldn’t start from the bottom; it should start from the top. Anytime now would be good.

Should not have happened through the media. Wade being the league so long with rings should know better. He is supposed to help Butler become a better leader, not show him what you should not do. Both guys were wrong. They played their asses off vs the hawks, both with 30+ points, and were rightfully frustrated with losing after leading by 10 with under 2mins left. Throwing your teammates under the bus is not acceptable via the media. Was what the said accurate, probably. Will it turn things around, probably not. It only divides the locker room further. Rondo’s response was spot on but not needed via the media. Rondo and wade are the vet leaders that are hurting this team more than helping. All this locker room division means is fredberg has no shot with this team. Respect is gone. Like you say, explode this team from the top down. Start with garpax, fredberg, and then wade, rondo, and anybody else not wanting to give their all. Plenty of blame to go around. No answers in sight. Bulls running wild.
