January 19, 2017: All Star Jimmy

I’m glad.  It was a no-brainer that he would make the game, but I wasn’t sure he’d get voted in as a starter.  He was definitely deserving, but wasn’t sure he’d win the popularity contest.  He did, and he’s starting this year.  All Star Jimmy is our biggest star.

I thought for a minute that Wade would get voted in ahead of him. How messed up would that have been?  Not sure if it would have been worse than Westbrook not starting in the West, but it would have been ridiculous.  Thankfully that did not happen. I guess Butler has made it to the next level.

I’m sure it was the Mountain Dew commercials that put him over the top.  Didn’t do it for Russ though.  I do remember Jimmy’s cutout in Jewel advertising that pop.  My son would run up to it and high five it.  He got the chance to high five the real deal eventually.  And now, he rocks the 21 jersey; good call Dad.

Maybe it was his role in the Office Christmas Party movie.  Cool movie.  Filmed in downtown Chicago at the Federal building, Buckets had a nice cameo.  Hooking up with Wahlberg helps his Hollywood rep too.  I guess the trademark hair makes him stand out too.  But make no mistake, it was his hard work on the court that made it all happen.

After not playing much in his first year, he came on in year 2.  The more he played, the more we wanted him to play.  A true two way stud that hustles his ass off.  He can do it all.  No secret my love for Butler.

Some people wait until they have used the last one in order purchasing that levitra uk to make the order. Yeah, maybe he fell short in his first shot at being a leader.  Maybe one of the biggest pluses of Wade being here is to help Jimmy with that.  Maybe Rose just needed to be gone for him to truly spread his wings.  All I know is that we have one of the best players in the NBA playing for our Bulls.

Now only if Garpax could build around him…  Sure, we could get the mother load for him in a deal, but why would we do that?  We shouldn’t, plain and simple.  He’s young enough that maybe somebody could figure out how to build a team around this All Star.  Maybe Jimmy will want to retire here.  Maybe his talents will not go to waste.  Maybe he will lead the Bulls to number seven.  That would be nice.

For now, continue to shine Jimmy.  Continue to work on your game; continue to improve your leadership.  Continue to work hard, play hard, and hustle…give it your 110%.  We’ll keep hoping that the Bulls finally figure it out, and get some guys around you that can make a serious run.  Congrats on being voted an all Star starter!  Move over and let Jimmy take over.

Jimmy Butler, Chicago Bulls starting all-star representative…pretty impressive. As I have said before, the Bulls should have had him on the block if they could get the mother load. I have since been proved wrong and eaten my words. Buckets has been great…where would the Bulls be without him? Hopefully, we wont find out. Get some young talent around him and see what kind of charge these Bulls can make. Buckets is young but getting old quick…2way player with tons of minutes. His window wont be open for many more years. Bulls better take advantage soon. Wade grooming Butler and helping/teaching the leadership role is important, but wade and rondo are past their prime. Garpax needs to find a young mix around Butler and take aim at the eastern conference and beyond…the sooner, the better! Congrats Buckets, you deserve it!
Westbrook averaging a triple double deserves to start, too…pretty crazy even with all that west talent that he didnt get the starting nod…ouch!
