Championship Sunday is coming. For me, it is the best football day of the year. There is only one problem with that this year…well, besides the fact that the Bears are not playing. The Packers are still alive. I’m still waiting for their season to end.
Will it be Sunday, or will the NFL get their match up of Brady and Rodgers? Really, you could make an argument that the 4 best QBs are left standing. Matty Ice has to be included in that conversation, no? He’s had a tremendous year. And then there’s Big Ben. Maybe he’s not top 4, but he’s no slouch. How will this weekend go?
Well, that’s what I’m here for. Whatever I say in these next four hundred words, you should do the exact opposite. At least I had a respectable divisional week. After an 0-4 Wild Card weekend, I went 2-2 with my ATS picks last week. At 2-6, I am guaranteed a losing record in this NFL postseason. But it doesn’t necessarily mean I would lose… you know, if I was betting with real money on these picks, it would be time to amp up the units. These next 3 games would be primo bets. Who you got?

Yes, that’s why I don’t gamble any more, but really… I do like the Falcons to win this game. I do have to admit, Rodgers has been really, really good. It still pisses me off; hear me out. I still can’t forget the Charles Martin hit on Jim McMahon. The Packers ruined our chances for a repeat and any additional Super Bowl titles by taking our QB out. Since then, we haven’t had a good one. Since then, the Packers have had Favre and Rodgers. How is that fair? I have to think karma is going to come around like a bitch on the cheese one day; I’m still waiting for that day. For now, it’s the Aaron Rodgers show, and he is one of the best. But back to Matty Ice for a second. He is no slouch, and I’d have to lean to the Falcons having a better D, plus they are at home. It should be a good game. There haven’t been that many this postseason, although the Packers Cowboys game definitely was. I want to see another good game with the Packers, this time, with them walking off the field as losers. Come on… I really want to watch the Super Bowl. I really want to cheer for a team. Let’s go Falcons!
Pittsburgh +6 at New England
Will the absence of Gronk finally catch up to the Pats? Probably not. Tom Brady is ridiculous, and that is why I’m sick of him too. The Steelers have some pretty great weapons with Bell and Brown. They will be tough to stop. The biggest difference with the Steelers over the last half of the year has been their defense. Get to Brady and they can win outright. We’ve seen that script before. Pressure rules, even against the great Tom B. Put him on his ass, hold their offense in relative check, and I can see the Steelers winning outright. I’ll take the points to be safe.
So there they are. Fade away and enjoy the best day of football!

Disgusting seeing the damn cheese here again. Spot on with how lucky they have been with favre and rodgers while the Bears wallow in qb hell…sucks big time! Great game vs the cowboys…knew they would turn into the cowgirls at some point but didn’t think it would be last weekend. 1-3 for me last weekend makes me 2-6, too. Money making time as we try to go perfect in the 3 biggest games of the year…
Atl-5.5…not picking the cheese as I hope their season ends this weekend. Atl has a great offense and their D did the job last week vs sea. A bigger test this week, but I think they get the job done in a game that won’t be as high scoring as people think. Atl 34-21
Ne-6…like pit more than the pats but just think belichek and Brady find a way, like always. Pats did not play great vs hou and still won by 18. Pit got lucky with that bullshit holding penalty on a successful 2pt conversion that should have tied the game and most likely sent it to ot. Would not be upset if pit won, but Brady is probably the best ever…he gets it done and sticks it to goodell and the nfl!
