Well, I guess I have to talk about the Super Bowl… woo hoo… I guess folks are excited about it, as they normally are, especially this year right? You have Brady, possibly the greatest QB of all time, vs Mahomes, the heir apparent. They’ll lead their teams the Tampa Bay Bucs and the Kansas City Chiefs into battle in the biggest game of the year on Sunday. I’m so excited… not.
Yeah, I’ll be looking at my squares that I have; got one free one at work and another $25 one through my son’s school. Other than that, not like there’s a whole lot financially riding on the game. If I was betting on the game, I would be on KC. Yeah, yeah… betting against Brady is not a successful path to making money, I know, and in this biggest fixed game of the year, I guess folks should tread extra carefully. Like I said a couple weeks ago, if Brady was able to get the calls in Lambeau against the Packers, then nothing is out of his range. Papa Vegas and Brady may be in bed yet again on Sunday, and this time no cheating a la the Patriot Way right Tom? wink, wink…
There should be a lot of points scored; I’m not sure of the over under, but I’m sure most folks are on the over, regardless of how high it is. The Super Bowl was always that game that had a ton of prop bets associated with it. Now, with all the online betting being legal, you can bet on that kind of stuff with every single game. Yes, it is the final football game of the year, and for that, I am sad… although our football season ended what, a month ago now?
