February 23, 2017: Hard Hat Lunch Pail

posted in: Bulls | 2

It is a sad, sad state for our Bulls.  We knew it was coming eventually.  It just sucks when it actually happens.  As we all know by now, Taj Gibson has been traded.  Now, there’s only one left standing…

Yeah, all the Thibs’ guys are almost gone.  Deng, Noah, and now, Taj were his guys.  These were OUR guys.  They went to war each and every night.  We loved that effort.  It was easy to root for these guys.  They were, as Stacey says, hard hat lunch pail guys.  That could have almost been the slogan for Thibs Bulls.  Besides Do Your Job, hard hat lunch pail defined that team.  He always got the most of the players.  The players always gave it their all.  It seems like that was another lifetime.

One of the final reminders that was left, was Taj Gibson.  I loved that guy.  He’ll always have a place in my heart.  He gave his all every single game.  He played with bum ankles half the damn time!  He didn’t want to sit out a game.  He didn’t want to miss going into battle with his teammates; he wouldn’t dare miss it.  Much respect bro.  How much of that exists on the Bulls now?

I would love to get Taj uncut.  I would love to get his opinion on all he has seen with the Bulls.  From day 1 to today, how everything has changed.  What all has he seen that has transpired… getting the view from a true insider.  The story wouldn’t be pretty.  And now, it gets worse.

The sad thing about it, is we didn’t get crap back for him.  He will be a valuable piece to the Thunder.  He would have been loved and appreciated wherever he went; that’s not something you can say about a lot of guys.  Yeah, he wasn’t the flashy MVP type, but he did all the dirty work.  Using another Stacey-ism, the Minister of Defense.

Remember when he would be on the floor in a close game in the 4th quarter instead of Pau?  Remember his thunderous dunks, none more thunderous than the one over current Bull DWade?  That is still one of my favorite all timers.
I generic no prescription viagra unica-web.com was most certainly none of these things. One such challenge men face in canadian cialis the bed is a prevalent problem these days. Amongs them, certain blood pressure pills, india cialis online depression and pain pills. This pharmacy online viagra term is a sexual disorder which is affecting a number of lives.
Yep, that’s gone now… and so is McDermott, but who cares about him?  He’s just another reminder of the Bulls stupidity; trading 2 picks to get him.  Bye Dougie.  But then we throw in a draft pick… and then we get who back?  Honestly, I didn’t even know who the hell he was.

But GarPax does… he’s been on their radar, which according to recent results, is NOT a good thing.  We got nothing back.  Why didn’t we get draft picks back?  At least we’d have a chance at getting somebody that could be good, although I guess I shouldn’t write off Payne yet.

I’m just mad to see another one of the guys go.  That’s why it wouldn’t surprise me if the Bulls eventually do trade Butler.  He is truly the last of the Thibs Bulls.  For that reason alone, I could see him going.  I’m sure Buckets could tell us some things too, like the difference in playing for Thibs vs Hoiberg.  The fact that Buckets doesn’t respect FredBerg gives me another reason to believe he’s gone.  After all, Fred ain’t going anywhere… GarPax and Fred are committed to each other.

Long gone are the hard hat lunch pail days.  We lost that coach, and now, we’ve lost one of his final soldiers.  And now what is the Bulls slogan?  What is their plan, you know, the one that GarPax has to constantly remind us about; the fact that there supposedly is one.  Maybe they’re the only ones that know?

Good luck Taj.  I’m happy for you.  You should have retired a Bull, but honestly, I would hate to see you rot here.  It doesn’t appear to be getting any better any time soon.  I hope you can get a title… you know, the one that you and the boys should have won here.  I waited to write this, and I’m still kind of pissed.  At least we still have Buckets… for now.  Fire GarPax!

Bye bye taj and dougie as well as a 2nd round pick. I think we knew the Bulls would be making moves, it was just a matter of who and what they got in return. Taj was heart, hustle, and muscle guy…nothing flashy, just hard work. Dougie was a busted 1st rounder that cost the Bulls 2 picks. In return, the Bulls get a bum center, a washed up guard, and a young guy with potential who has been injured. How in all of this did the Bulls get better? Please explain garpax. Plus a 2nd round pick? What??? I though that is what the Bulls would be trading for. Seems like garpax just wanted to make some kind of deal to make it seem like they are doing something. Not sure how this made sense for the Bulls, but very little does right now. Who knows, maybe the Bulls will get better by seeing what valentine has to offer. I really dont know what garpax is doing. I wish they could be traded. That aint happening, so the roller coaster ride that is the Bulls continues.
