December 9, 2014: Back to the UC

So last night was my first time at the United Center since Game 5 of the Bulls-Wizards series back on April 29.  No, you didn’t miss a Bulls or Hawks game, it was a Justin Timberlake concert.

7 months is too long to go between visits at the UC.  I definitely miss having those Bulls season tickets.  Going to the game is a lot of fun.  Besides the intro, the crowd is live, especially in the 300 level, which is where our seats were.  The Bulls are usually pretty good at home, except for this year.  I should have kept track of my personal record at Bulls games; definitely more wins than losses.  Need to get on that schedule and get back to see the Bulls play at home.  And then there’s the Hawks…

That in-game experience is awesome too.  Don’t miss the anthem; that’s half the fun.  There’s nothing else like it, at least I haven’t experienced anything like that at any other sporting event.  And man is it loud.  It helps that the Hawks are pretty damn good at home too.  Winning makes it all better.  Hawks tickets are just so ridiculously priced.  I have to get on that last minute ticket purchase.  On StubHub, they still sell tickets up until the end of the 1st period.  I’m sure the prices get very cheap, but then you miss the anthem and the 1st period; that would suck.  But, living so close, I could get them at like 6:30 and still make the game on time; that goes for the Bulls too.  That goes for concerts too…

One cialis wholesale online of those health problems is erectile dysfunction during intercourse. Nearly three quarters of men will experience difficulty “staying hard” or maintaining an erection during their vardenafil generic lifetimes. Pain often come with bloating, nausea or vomiting, burning sensation and occurs after unhealthy food combinations of order viagra sugars, fats, proteins, starches, some acidic-causing foods, and alcohol coupled with a sedentarylifestyle, environmental chemicals, and some medications (antibiotics) harmfully affect intestinal bacteria. For men over 65 years of age, the dosage cialis discount online is 50mg once daily, an hour before intercourse. Bought these JT tickets at about 4pm for a pretty decent price.  We probably could have waited a little longer, and got them a little cheaper.  Again, living so close to the UC, we can make this happen.  But, then you take the risk of tickets NOT being available, OR getting stuck with paying a high price for the few that are.  I still think it’s worth pushing our luck… waiting to that very last minute, and then pulling the trigger.  You just have to be prepared, in the worst case scenario, to NOT go.  I would be fine with that in most cases, but my wife may not.  When she wants to see Timberlake, she wants to see Timberlake…

It was a good show.  The Elvis and Michael Jackson tributes were pretty cool, plus he has a ton of hits, plays a ton of instruments, and overall, puts on a very good performance.  The women go nuts over him.  My favorite part is when he gives credit to the person who built the stadium that he was performing in, and that’s # 23.  He also looked up at one point in the show, and commented on all the banners hanging from the rafters, which made me feel pretty damn good.  Both the Bulls and the Hawks have plenty of success to show off to anybody who comes to perform at the United Center.  Someone even threw a Bulls jersey with his name on there at him.  He said he couldn’t put that on; that he would get killed because he’s part owner of the Grizzlies.  That was the one and only time he got booed all night.  I seem to remember him being a Laker fan at one point… but he is from Memphis, so I guess I have to respect that.  There’s no way I would wear a Memphis Grizzlies jersey, although I’m not part owner of the Bulls, and I’m not Justin Timberlake either… still…

So as I checked my phone at intermission for Lester updates from the Cubs, I saw the Sox splash.  That is definitely blog worthy; we shall be discussing some baseball tomorrow.  Don’t worry Sox fans, I’m not ignoring you… I’ll give you your shine… I’ll give you some attention.. that is of course, if the Cubs don’t sign Lester today…

Why ruin your perfect record of not covering the White Sox, when you could just do another preview of the Bears next beating on national television.

Cubs get Lester for 6-7 years for about 175 million? 30 years old now and just lost 2 mph off his fastball last year. Another 225 innings. Good pitcher, but I wonder what he’ll throw at 37? Warning Will Rogers! Warning! Warning!

I’ve talked plenty about the White Sox… just not as much as everybody else. I give them the 5th most attention, which is where they sit with me in order of importance, and most people in the city judging by their attendance numbers.

I’m more than happy to welcome a dedicated Sox blogger to the site if you know anybody interested…
