December 4, 2015: Week 13 49ers at Bears

I’m still on cloud nine not sure about you.  Yeah, last night was pretty brutal, but that’s the Lions for you. And that’s Aaron Rodgers for you. As long as he is their QB, they will always be a formidable foe. They still suck and aren’t going anywhere.  Onto our game.

Bears -7 is the line. This is not only a pretty big spread, it is the first time this season the Bears have opened in Vegas as favorites. Immediately I liked the Niners, but after second thought, I am taking the Bears here; I’ll list that in my picks blog for the week, but I’m going to tell you why here.

The Bears have turned the corner. Beating the Pack at Lambeau was not a fluke. This team has been getting better. They’ve been well coached all year, minus a few play calls, and now they’re starting to believe. They’re buying into the coaches:  Fox, Gase, and Fangio may be the best Bears coaching staff…ever?  Halas and anybody. Ditka and Ryan….and Ed Hughes. Lovie, Rivera, and…Turner. Ok, maybe we’re getting ahead of ourselves. All the previously mentioned coaching staffs have championship experience with the Bears. These guys not yet. This year?

Again, we’re getting ahead of ourselves, but this is what beating the Packers does. It makes us believe anything can happen, and we don’t need much to start planning the parade in our heads. We basically need to win out. Anything less, doesn’t get it done. Looking at the schedule, not in this order, but San Fran, Washington, Tampa, Detroit, and Minny. It is possible. Maybe not probable, but definitely not out of the question.  But first things first.  Win this Sunday.

This isn’t Montana or young. This isn’t even the recent Harbaugh Niners. This is the Tomasula and Gabbert Niners. They suck. Sorry Robby. They blew this team up, and hired a clown as coach. Thank you for Fangio by the way. Kaepernick isn’t even starting anymore. I’d like to scoop him up in the offseason as a backup QB….potential starter.  They are a shell of what they were even just a year ago. They did play Arizona tough last week though…

And that sets us up… Niners coming off a good loss, and the Bears coming off a huge win plus they’re favored for the first time this year…by 7 points?!?  Yep.  At the end of the day, we have more talent than this team and we can’t say that often. We’re definitely better coached. We seemed focused too, that’s why I don’t see a letdown here.
