The Bulls came back home on Tuesday night only to turn back around and hit the road for one on Wednesday night in Charlotte. One up one down was the result of this back to back.
I caught most of both of the games. The Mavericks game was a real good game; the only thing wrong with it was the end result. The Bulls were down double digits in the first half, climbed back into it in the 3rd, and had the lead late in the 4th. With Pau Gasol hitting 2 free throws to put the Bulls up 3, we were almost ready to drive home safely. Then Hinrich fouled Monta Ellis on a 3 point attempt. Why Captain why? It wasn’t Kirk’s shining moment; he owned up to it, while Thibs tried to take some of the blame. Class guys, both of them. Ellis hit all 3 FTs, and the Bulls called timeout for a last second shot. The shot went to DRose, and he missed.
In the first OT, the tables were turned. The Bulls were down 3 late, and looked to Rose again for the last second shot. He banked in a beautiful 3 pointer to send it to double OT. I thought he’d at least crack a smile after hitting that shot. I mean, after all he’s been through the last few years, and early this year, to hit a shot like that to keep the Bulls alive, was pretty cool; I thought it deserved at least a smile… fist pump maybe… he turned and ran back to the bench; I’m not mad at you Rose. He got the same opportunity at the end of double OT, and barely grazed the bottom of the net. Bulls lose, but it was eventful.

Sildenafil is accessible in variety of forms like viagra 20mg in india tablets, soft tablets, pills, chewable and so on. Pau played HUGE. He’s been playing huge most of the year. Here’s what he brings. Besides his massive height, and shot blocking ability, the guy is a force on the offensive end. This is something we haven’t had in a while. We thought we acquired someone like this when we scooped up Boozer; let’s not relive that nightmare. It’s like any time the Bulls are struggling to score, they dump it down to Gasol. It’s working well right now. He had a tough matchup with Tyson Chandler, but still put up big numbers. The matchup in Charlotte against Al Jefferson was a little easier. When Al Jefferson went to the bench, it seemed like Gasol was about a foot taller than anybody on the Charlotte team. He’s been everything and more for the Bulls so far. He also seems like a good mentor for Mirotic, since they’re from the same country and all. You can see the bond between them, which is good for Nikola, especially in his first year in the NBA, and America for that matter.
It was interesting to see what the Bulls did in the last second situation. When Rose wasn’t around earlier in the year, they looked to Jimmy Buckets. Now, with Rose back, the ball went to him 3 straight times against Dallas. When we had MJ, there was never a doubt who would take the last shot. It was good to see him at the Charlotte game. It’s too bad his team is tanking so far this year, after appearing to turn the corner last year. I don’t like Lance Stephenson, and I was glad he didn’t come here. I think he’s a head case. He hasn’t been working out too well down there yet, one of the reasons they’ve struggled. Back to MJ, the last second options were MJ, MJ, and MJ; no question ever. Now with Rose, I don’t think it should be that automatic. Maybe it wasn’t. Maybe that was just the best option at the time. I would like to see Butler get a chance in those opportunities as well. I’m glad to see Rose playing out there finally, but I still don’t think he’s back to his old self. He doesn’t drive to the hole with reckless abandon much, and I can’t remember the last time he dunked it. Hopefully, some of that will come. He’ll need that same time to get on point across the board. Meanwhile, Jimmy G is on point; just named player of the month for October/November. I would have liked to see him get a chance. Without Rose’s drive and patented tear drop working smoothly yet, Butler is better at creating his own shot right now. It will be interesting to see how this plays out going forward. I hope they can share those responsibilities; I hope no one feels looked over, and heads to the bench, like a certain #33 when Phil decided it was Kukoc getting the last second shot. That wasn’t Scottie’s finest moment, but by the way, Kukoc hit that shot.
Now, the Bulls will be at home for a stretch, where they need to play better. They need to play with a little more urgency at home, kind of like they’ve played on the road. They’ll be fine. I need to start looking to get to a game at the UC. I miss those season tickets…
