Back to back games against the two of the top three seeds in the East gave us Bulls fans an early Christmas gift. Back to back wins reminded the rest of the East who the top seed was the last 2 years Derrick Rose has been healthy.
We knew it was coming. We knew the Bulls would slowly start to climb to the top of the Eastern Conference. There are really 5 teams in the discussion. Toronto and Washington were the teams we knocked around the past 2 nights. There is Atlanta, a semi-surprise, and then Cleveland, who I still believe we will be playing for the chance to go to the NBA finals. The rest of the East is garbage. There will be nobody else that challenges for the crown. But early on in the NBA season, we had to check some teams.
Toronto isn’t going to be there at the end, are they? Their team is not scary to me in the least bit. Yeah, Lowry should be an All-Star, and their big man Jonas is getting better, and DeRozan is pretty decent. I’m still not concerned. Still, you have to go out there and beat these teams to prove it to everybody else. We went into Toronto about a month ago, in their first prime time game on TNT in forever, and kicked them around. On Tuesday night, they came to Chicago for seconds; the Bulls obliged.
49 points in the 4th quarter for the Bulls were a franchise record. What a difference from a Bulls team that has struggled to score at times. To see Rose and Butler both playing at a high level is lovely. When they’re playing like that side by side, I’d take this backcourt over any backcourt in the NBA; yeah, even above Curry and Thompson. OK, so I’m biased, but still… a previous MVP, and a rising star who is one of the best 2 way players in the game… I can justify it.
People had to viagra buy cheap resort to suction pumps. That’s why one should try special medications like levitra cost of, cialis. The main components in the drug act immediately on the off chance that you have a loss of sight in one or both eyes. 100mg viagra effects icks.org We ran into another great backcourt in Wall and Beal on Wednesday night. Wall has finally arrived. He has had a great year. I’m not that sold on Beal, so easy choice there. Yeah, Beal killed us last year in the playoffs, as did a bunch of those Bullets, I mean, Wizards, but something tells me things would be different this time around. In the first meeting that mattered since then, the Bulls went up to DC and sent a message. A healthy Rose, a deep bench, and a good memory has me wanting to meet the Wizards in the Conference Semifinals. I always love the chance to pay back a team that has eliminated us in the past.
If you watched the game, there were some great plays, like the Aaron Brooks shot against Nene. I don’t watch SportsCenter any more, but I’d have to imagine it made the top 10 plays of the night. It reminded me of the famous Dr J shot… yeah, OK, not that classic, not Crown Royal level, but it was still sweet, especially against that goon Nene. Nene did get a facial in over Mirotic, but other than that, he pretty much sucked in this one. Wall single handedly brought them back in the 4th, but Rose shut that down.
Rose has been feeling it, and that’s great to see. It’s interesting to see this play out… with 2 legitimate stars sharing the ball. It’s only been 28 games, but Jimmy Buckets has arrived. If there was no Rose, he would be THE man. With Rose, a healthy, back on his game Rose, he assumes that position. It’s nice to have options. I hope they keep a good relationship through it all, and nobody gets jealous of one or the other, because when they’re both firing on all cylinders, this Bulls team will not be beat. Yeah, it helps to have Noah, Gasol, Taj, Mirotic, Brooks, Dunleavy, heck even Etwan Moore. The depth behind the star power… the defense that the Bulls can play… makes this Bulls team look awesome.
So early Merry Christmas on this Christmas Eve. Enjoy the ride that this Bulls team will be taking us on this year. And when you’re with your family & friends tonight, enjoying the holiday, thanking God for all our blessings, just remember to ask for this team to stay healthy. If they do, I’ll be writing about the Bulls deep into June, and we’ll be battling for #7. We’ve only just begun…

Gonna be tough to beat this Bulls team in a 7 game series. As long as they stay healthy, the Bulls will keep getting better this year and will definitely be in the running for the NBA title!
