Never been a big preseason guy. But because the Bulls have been away for 9 months, I’m ready to watch them. I think that’s one reason. Another reason is because of all the changes that have been made. Because of these changes, there is optimism again in the UC. That optimism was smacked down in our first preseason game against the Rockets; same old Bulls right? Wrong. I didn’t think so then; what they did in their 2nd preseason game proved me right. There was instant improvement in the 2nd matchup with the Rockets which lead to a Bulls victory.
I mentioned our rookie, the guy we were all asking “who?” when he was drafted 4th overall, Patrick Williams, last time around. After watching some more of him on the court, I’m going to re-up that statement; the kid looks good. 19 years old? What were you doing when you were 19? This kid, in a man’s body, is running with the Bulls vs other grown men in the NBA. He doesn’t seem phased. His game has a certain smoothness to it… kind of like that kid you know who seems mature past his years, that “old soul”. It’s just the first impression, but you know what they say about those. Obviously don’t want to jump the gun on anything, just like I didn’t want to slam AK for his first ever draft pick. Gave him the benefit of the doubt there; hoping the kid continues to impress.

Another common order viagra online risk factor of penile fracture is prolonged erection. The other big thing I noticed was the improvement on the defensive side of things. From 125 points allowed in the first game to 91 in the second game, that was certainly an encouraging sign. It is the preseason, and you can’t put a whole lot of stock in anything, but I’m going to take it and run with it. It IS something. One of the biggest problems was noted and addressed, which lead to an immediate much better performance; if only it could always work like this. This gives me trust in the coaching staff, and confidence in the players. It’s early, but I’m taking this as a justification of my optimism.
What’s next? Oh ok, Wednesday night at OKC, followed by Friday night vs the same. It will be fun to see how those 2 games turn out; we can talk more then. However, the real date is 12/23 which is the regular season opener vs the Hawks. I’m excited for this journey to begin for these Bulls. With the Bears hanging on by a thread and no confirmation of the return of the Blackhawks, it’s about to be full-out Bulls season; get ready for some b-ball in the house… once the Christmas decorations are put away. Go Bulls!
