The calendar turns to August, and football is back on the brain; well, that’s the way it’s supposed to work I guess. The Bears started practicing, actually last week, in preparation of the 2017-2018 NFL season. I’m definitely not ready for football.
Without looking at my previous years’ blogs, I feel like I’ve felt this way for at least a couple years. I think it’s a combination of things. Let’s first start off with the Cubs performance. The fact that they’ve been great the last 2 years, which will hopefully become 3 years including this year, and played into October, it’s been difficult to focus on the NFL and our Bears. With the Cubs playing meaningful baseball late in the season, the switching of gears has been delayed.
Secondly, the Bears have been brutal. Although, I am actually looking forward to this season, if only for one reason alone: Jay Cutler is no longer on the Bears roster. Alleluia! That makes me happy and excited for the future, however long we may have to wait to see it. Still, even with Smoking Jay gone, and the QB of our future on the roster (hopefully), this year could be another rough one. Did you see how our schedule begins?
Because of the first two reasons, my fantasy football performance has suffered. I’m not looking at anything football right now; I’ll probably squeeze in about an hour or two before the draft later this month. That’s been good for the lower half of the standings. That sucks.
Other than strong feel you will feel more confident to have intercourse with sildenafil online purchase your sex partner. His most recent films were lowest prices for sildenafil Dark Shadows (2012), The Lone Ranger (2013), Transcendence (2014) and Mortdecai (2014). There will be an increase in their metabolism and increased circulation of the super active viagra check availability blood. An unaddressed syndrome sildenafil in usa could cause quite a few problems. How about the most recent reports about CTE? Is this game that has taken over our country in real jeopardy? As a parent, I certainly have taken notice; I’d be perfectly fine if my son decides to play baseball or basketball. Would I love to see him slinging the pigskin around the field a la Steve Young? Sure, but at what potential cost? It’s some serious stuff that the NFL is going to have to somehow address. How will this change the game we love? I know money is king, but players’ safety needs to be prioritized as well. In both cases, there needs to be future plans made.
All that being said, I still may go to a preseason game. It would be cool to drive down to watch them practice too. Either way, I would like to take my son to his first Bears game. A preseason game may be perfect for that. I vowed to wait until Cutler was gone… and now he is… so it’s time.
Going to a preseason game means we would be able to see old Mitchy boy in action. Seeing our golden boy pegged as a 3rd stringer, pretty much tells you how often we’ll see him on the field in the regular season. Things could change of course, but I think the Bears are going to be as conservative as possible with him… rightfully so… I guess. Drafting him so high, and trading picks to move up one spot to do so, kind of makes me want to see him sooner than later. Like I said, things could change.
Yeah, a preseason game may be the way to go this year. I think the Bears would be a solid bet this preseason, considering the 3 QBs that will be in the rotation; that’s possibly the most important angle when betting preseason football. Maybe I need to start betting on football again? Maybe that will get me into it faster… it could make me lose interest (and money) faster too. I’ll get there… eventually. In the meantime, I’m always ready to say this: Bear Down!!!

Tough to look forward to football when the Bears are what they are…a work in progress. Yes, they should be better than 3-13, but who would have thought they would be that bad last year. As you noted, our latest qb plague is no longer with us. The Bears instead have signed Glennon and drafted Mitch. Will either of them pan out? Will Mitch see the field this year? Is the Bears qb sage finally solved? I hear a lot of doubt answering these questions. What about Jordan Howard? Is he the real deal? Will he be a 2nd year bust like Langford was last year? How about the Bears D? They should be better. Another year with Vic, more talent, and more speed should equal more success. So many questions about our Bears. Maybe that is why it is easier to not think about them, especially while the Cubs are making their push for a 3rd straight postseason and a title defense. Training camp or preseason game would be cool. What would be even cooler is having answers to all of the Bears question marks! TBD for sure. BEAR DOWN no doubt!!!
