It was gold, pure gold. I could have watched all 10 episodes that morning. To relive my childhood memories, to relive the glory days, to see MJ back on the court doing his thing, to see the Bulls as the kings of the NBA, pump this into my veins. The 2nd episode of The Last Dance kept it moving.
Couple things that jumped out to me: the fact that Jordan played every game like his last. It didn’t matter… preseason, international, regular season, or postseason, MJ brought his game night in and night out. That is what is so hard for this generation to grasp about him. Growing up watching MJ and the Bulls, it was must-see TV; you never wanted to miss a game. And why was that? Because Jordan did something spectacular every single game. 30+ PPG… legit. There were no “off” nights. To hear the part about somebody possibly being in the stands that never saw him play before, buying tickets, spending good money to come see HIM specifically, and Jordan wanting to live up to the hype each and every night, to “prove himself” again and again and again… that is what is missing from today’s game, from today’s “superstars”. There will never be another MJ.
I like how he scoffed at the Bulls trying to lose to gain a better draft pick, saying that’s building a losing culture. Love it. Where is that attitude today? Who today would force themselves back into the lineup to play for a team that had no chance to win a title? Now you know why there are hard feelings with Rose right? And the Bulls had a much better chance at a title that time around… Anyways, the 63 in Boston which was preceded by 49… against one of the greatest teams of all time with 5 HOFers… playing with the traveling cocaine circus? Just another decision and performance that would continue to change the culture in Chicago; another move in the direction of making the Bulls legit. The building blocks of becoming the GOAT. Love it.

These signals with blood then trigger the levitra side effects male reproductive organ that initiates becoming erect during the act in the bed.I didn’t know all that family stuff about Pippen; certainly made sense what he did signing that long term contract. I don’t think there’s ever been a player that has outperformed his contract like Scottie. I know Jerry didn’t renegotiate, but come on… really? Make a fricking exception for the 2nd best player on the dynasty. Yeah, I remember him being underpaid, but didn’t realize it was that bad. I do remember the criticism he got for not doing the surgery that summer, but for some reason, the trade demands slip my mind.
Then there’s Krause… I remember hating him back then, feeling like he was at the middle of the Bulls breakup. Seeing this was just validation; seeing this reopened those wounds, those hard feelings. Again, I get what he was trying to prepare for; father time is undefeated. But again, there are exceptions to every rule… they should have listened to MJ and kept this team intact until they lost. I want to dig into this topic a bit more soon. Maybe a Hate File for the guy that helped bring the dynasty to an end? If anybody deserves it, it’s him right?
OK we finished both episodes, just as his school day was about to begin, and oh shit, I had to go to work. There was just no stopping at one; two times was definitely the way to go. I can’t wait until three and four; Rodman, the Pistons, and more MJ… yeah buddy. And since there ain’t shit else going on in sports, why not continue talking about this? I’m good with it…
