Back to back days… let the hate flow…
Unfortunately, this is not the 1st type of Hate File like this. I had to take the 2014 Chicago Bears to the woodshed after their season ended. With the expectations, followed by the horrible performance, coupled with unlikeable leaders, they were one of the most disappointing teams that I can recall; they were the 1st Hate File about a Chicago team.
Let me tell you how this works. We do NOT write Hate Files about current Chicago players. We do NOT write Hate Files about current Chicago teams. The Hate File I referenced above was specifically for the 2014 Chicago Bears… after the season was over. We aired our grievances and feelings of disgust, then we hit the reset button, and got ready to cheer them on the next year. This is how THIS type of Hate File works. Now let’s get to the current edition.
The 2015-2016 Chicago Bulls.. welcome.. you really deserve to be here… and now you are… and now I will tell you a little something about yourselves. It started in the offseason… before the season began. I wrote about it here early and often… look it up if you don’t believe me, but the minute the Bulls decided to fire Thibs was the minute this thing was going to hell in a handbag. One of the worst moves that I can recall. Letting go of one of the best NBA coaches with the assumption that THAT was what had to be done to get this team to the next level, was just asanine. For that misstep, all Bulls management should be held accountable. Reinsdorf, Gar, and Pax… you F’d up!
So we tried to get past that, and continue to root on our Bulls. Let’s give Fredberg a chance… Let’s see what happens… Well, here’s what happened. You went from a drill sergeant to a kindergarten teacher in terms of discipline, accountability, and leadership…. I’m not saying kindergarten teachers can’t be leaders… don’t send me hate mail. I’m just saying, it went from one extreme to the other, and I ask again, THAT is what this team needed to get over the hump?
So Fredberg comes in an tries to put his stamp on the team… by benching their emotional leader Joakim Noah. Nice start Freddy. And then on top of that horrible move, Noah gets hurt, and is lost for the year. Strike 1, strike 2, and strike 3… but wait, there’s more.
So as the team tries to cope with the loss of their heart and soul, Thibs and Noah, they scramble for an identity. Fredberg wants to turn this team into every other NBA team… run and gun, no defense playing, chuck and run basketball. So the message management sent was Thibs pushed you to play hard, and that was wrong. Here’s a nicer coach that will allow you to do as you please, so please, be happy. Nice message. Well, maybe that’s what certain players wanted….
It improves sex drive and sexual performance. order cheap viagra find out over here Erectile dysfunction can occur both due to physiological levitra canada Get More Info and psychological factors but also dependent on one’s lifestyle. In the start of taking orlistat capsules will occur oil feces, stool cheap prices for viagra frequency and so on, in which zinc plays an important role in shaping social behaviors and affects human behaviors, such as sexual arousal, recognition, trust, anxiety and mother-infant bonding. But you don’t have to be cost of viagra pill a television commercial about it every two minutes.
Maybe certain players gave the negative feedback on Thibs that they were waiting to hear… Gasol? Yep. Rose? Yep. Noah…Taj… Jimmy… nope. So now there is a divide in the locker room, that is missing their leaders. Jimmy tries to step into the role, since he was the best player on the team. I mean, from where he started in the league to one of the best 2 way players is nothing short of impressive. However, as he tried to assume the leadership role, and speak out, he threw the coach under the bus… publicly. Not the best way to go about that Buckets. Let that $ and ego get to your head? But remember the game this came out….
It was after Knicks loss at MSG… which was after the Pistons 4OT loss at home the previous night. Who played the most minutes on BOTH nights? Who didn’t play the 2nd game? Gasol. Think Jimmy was a little pissed? Was Rose playing either night? Not sure.
So we give Jimmy a mulligan, but it was too late… the damage was done. Softie Fredberg was put on blast, and now had to battle that all year long, as he proceeded in his 1st year as NBA coach, of a team who just lost their coach and emotional leader Noah… of a team who was setup for greatness…. except, again, the wrong choice was made… the wrong button pushed…
I’m sorry, it just all ties back to that for me. Maybe I should just direct this to Bulls management. I mean, I don’t hate the Bulls players… I still think we’ve got a good team. I think we need to re-sign Noah… we have Butler… Taj… I think we let Pau walk, and trade Rose. Pau’s bullfighter’s defense has worn out it’s welcome, and Rose’s focus on himself above team is the same. Sitting out the last 2 games of the season? I do NOT agree with that, especially after a season like this where motivation was questioned from the entire team, you sit out the last 2 games and basicallly say you don’t care… it’s not worth it to play because I might get hurt. Maybe you shouldn’t play in the summer either? Maybe you should just wait until the regular season starts again, where the most you’ll play is 80% of the games from here on out, but will be looking for a max contract. He needs to go. I like our bench… don’t like trading Kirk, but Holliday seems like a solid find… I like Felicio… would he have been this good if Fredberg put him in the lineup earlier? Another coaching mistake?
This was the 50th anniversary of the Bulls franchise, and the Bulls celebrated by missing the playoffs for the 1st time in 8 years. Not exactly the celebration I had in mind… This season was a trainwreck from the jump… and frankly, I’m sick of talking about it. The sad thing is, I’m not sure I trust the management to fix this going forward… we can only hope.
So let me say goodbye to the 2015-2016 Chicago Bulls… you guys sucked. You were setup to fail, and you failed… miserably. You proved to everyone that you need somebody up your ass to play hard… to give it all you got every game… to play basketball the right way. That’s the reason I enjoy watching the Bulls… that’s exactly why this year was tough to watch. But like the Bears team above, we open and close this file on the same date. We file it away, and look towards a better offseason, and even better year next year. We close the file and try to forget about this season as soon as possible… as soon as I finish typing these wor…

As I have been saying for awhile, this team mirrors the trestman Bears. Rookie coach brought in, no personality, tries to change identity, loses team, and players have no pride or heart in themselves or the team. To not make the playoffs in the weak east is sad. The season could not end soon enough for some guys, as evidenced by those sitting the final games. Glad this hard to watch and listen to season is over. Adios pau and drose. Learn from mistakes fredberg. Draft well and make some moves. Enjoy the early vacation Bulls, but come back improved individually and ready to play as a team, again.
