October 24, 2021: It Never Happened

posted in: Bears | 0

Can we just forget about the Bears game this week? Can we just act like it never happened? Is it possible to permanently erase it from our memory? Like a car wreck, I just couldn’t look away, and sat there, staring at the screen, watching every minute of this blowout. Why do I do this to myself? It was pretty obvious early on that this was not going to end well.

The ease at which the Bucs moved the ball. The constant pressure on Fields. The “weird” penalties that weren’t even necessary. None of it was good. Besides Khalil Herbert’s performance, I literally cannot think of one bright spot from this game; there is nothing positive to take away from what happened in Tampa Bay on this Sunday afternoon. I feel for all the Bears fans that made the trek… brutal, just brutal.

Why is it that every other offense in the NFL can move the ball without problems except us? Is it just me that sees this? I just don’t get it. Whether it’s the plays being called, the non-separation achieved by our receivers, the lack of blocking by our line, the inability for our QB to read and react that quickly… I don’t get it. Every now and then, just like a good golf shot of mine, there’s a good play or two… then that’s it. It’s a tease really. Since we’ve been wandering in this desert so long, any little drop of water gives me the hope that we’re turning the corner. Well, we crashed into a pole vs the Bucs; ugly, ugly, ugly…

One benefit of Kamagra Polo is that it acts as an instant medication to this embarrassing, confidence crushing problem of erectile dysfunction. cialis prescription online It has emerged as a magical lowest viagra price medicine for men with erection disorders. What’s up with our line by the way? I thought they were better than that. I didn’t have the pleasure of watching the Browns game, but have an idea it went something similar to this. Fields barely had a chance. I know he’s a rookie, and still learning to read defenses, and react quickly, but man… it just seemed like he had no chance to succeed in this one. I don’t want to make excuses for the man, but holy crap… Like I said, if it wasn’t for the running by Herbert, I’d hate to see what our historically inept offensive performance would have been.

And then the weird penalties… like that early pass interference call on an uncatchable ball. First we have to deal with the Packer BS, and now the Brady rules? Like I said, they didn’t even need to do that in this one. There were a couple others… I can’t remember; I don’t much want to either. Like I said, it was unnecessary; talk about being owned… the Bucs absolutely owned us in this game.

They say you need to forget losses like this, and move on as quickly as possible; easier said than done. I feel like this one will be burned in my memory, as just another bad, bad loss for our boys. When will things get better? Honestly, I don’t know any more… I really don’t.
