Do the Cowboys suck this bad? That’s what I texted my buddy late in the 3rd quarter. I was in shock frankly. Not enough to shock me into believing the Bears will make the playoffs, but certainly enough of a jolt to feel good about this team again.
The Bears kicked the crap out of the Cowboys in this one. It wasn’t as close as the 31-24 final score indicated. It was pretty much total domination after the first drive of the game for the Cowboys. Who saw this coming?
I’ll tell you what though; this is what I expected to see this season. Mitch looked great. I know he looked great against the Lions, but I didn’t put much value in that one; maybe I shouldn’t put much value in this one either… I don’t know. Where the hell has that running that was so successful last year been this year? He looked great taking off from the pocket. He made nice throws pretty much all game except that first pick. THIS is what I expected from Mitch. THIS is what I expected from the Nagy offense. An offense that has looked dead most of the year came to life in a big way. Sure, the Cowboys aren’t a defensive juggernaut by any means, but so what. I’ll take 31 points every week.

But they are most likely to help you in your difficulty. online ordering viagraThe Cowboys were supposedly an offensive juggernaut; they were first in the NFL? Sure didn’t seem like it in Soldier Field on Thursday night. After that first drive, and aside from all the garbage yards and points they got in this one, they didn’t do crap. It was pretty satisfying to see. They kept panning to Garrett on the sideline; talk about a dead man walking. Sad thing though, is that they still can win a division, even at 6-7 this point in the season.
At 7-6, the division is not an option for the Bears. But I will tell you I looked at the other teams’ schedules… could this happen? Could the Bears actually turn this season around in enough time to make the postseason? Like I said, I’m not believing that yet; I need to see more. And more could happen next week… In Green Bay against the hated Packers… show me then. Go up to Lambeau and beat the Packers, then, then I’ll believe we can win the remaining two games. And with a little help, we could actually get there. Still in shock…
A lot still has to happen though, but like I always say, winning beats losing every day of the week. To see the Bears play like this reminded me of last year’s squad; it made me feel a little tingle… that kind of tingle that I haven’t felt since the game against the Vikes. It’s only a tingle though… not really a feeling. Beat the Pack, and that tingle turns into a feeling, and that feeling turns into believing, and that believing could turn into playoffs, and that playoffs could turn into… OK, let me stop there. Nice that we have 10 days to prepare for the Pack; use them wisely Nagy. Bear Down!!!
