Sure, the second I write about the Bulls they come back down to earth. Actually, I did think they were going to get it handed to them against the Bucks, but then I heard the Greek Freak was out; then I thought they had a chance… then I heard Otto and Kris were out, then I had no idea. It was an entertaining first quarter, but from there on out, it was pretty ugly. Not sweating it. There was another game going on that drew my interest.
I started seeing some Noah highlights on Twitter. I saw him make a nice move to the rim and 2 handed slam it; I saw him get a rebound put-back dunk. It brought back some great memories from when he was doing his thing as a Bull. It made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I didn’t realize who they were playing at first… but once I did, and he was doing this against the Queen and the Fakers… oh man, I needed to see how this game was going to play out. Then I remembered it was just after the All Star break, and the NBA package was free for a few nights; jackpot! Yeah, forget watching the end of the Bulls game, I was making the switch. Grizzlies Lakers 4th quarter here we come.
It ended up being a great move. First of all, the Grizzlies beat the Lakers. Secondly, it was nice to see Noah pumped up on his birthday, playing ball like he used to, and taking a big charge from none other than Lebron. Finally, I saw first hand what an absolute joke that guy is; I already knew, but this was just the most recent example. Watching what played out afterwards in the post game interviews and social media, it’s amazing how anybody can actually be a fan of this guy, let alone claim him to be the GOAT; well, it shouldn’t be that amazing, I mean look at our president… anyways.

That would have made it perfect, but I was still pretty happy… flashing my middle finger at the TV when they showed Lebron whining. First, it was a play on defense, that’s all over the place now. He was “guarding” his guy… problem was that his guy was at the 3 point line while Lebum was standing under the basket. The Grizzlies player drained the three, then Lebron threw his hands up like, what the heck… dude, that was YOUR guy! Haha… Secondly, came the charge against him. It was clearly a charge. Noah didn’t have to flop when a freight train of a guy came running at you, knocking you to the ground. I imagine he could get called for that every game… just bulling his way to the rim. Bravo refs! Finally, it was a three point attempt that he took that he totally airballed. Then, then… he complained so bad to the refs that the ball got tipped, that they looked at the replay. That took about 5 seconds. The defender wasn’t close to tipping the ball; it was a pure, unadulterated airball… from the self-proclaimed king in one of the biggest moments of the game. Beautiful. He ended up taking one more three for good measure that ricocheted off the backboard and side of the rim… what a horrible shot. Haha…
But wait, there’s more. Afterwards he talks to the reporters like he has absolutely NO fault in this. Then he goes on social media to congratulate himself, pat himself on the back (he’s good for that) about a career accomplishment… just hours after a horrible team loss. Typical. Meanwhile, Ingram, one of the Lakers promising young players who had a really good night, said numbers don’t matter…we lost. Somebody teach Lebron the stat padder that mentality… good luck.
What a train wreck. Yes, he’s still an awesome player; not as good as he was, but that’s understandable. But his “leadership” on this young team, and new franchise to him… oh yeah, one that has won the 2nd most titles in NBA history without him, is really looking bad… and I couldn’t be happier. Well, yeah, I could if/when the Bulls win their 7th NBA title, but until then, I’ll take pleasure in watching my favorite ex-Bulls player kick ass while seeing the player I hate the most in the NBA take one on the chin. Not a bad night after all…

Not too hard to switch from the Bulls at any point this season, but especially when they are losing. 3 wins in a row, sure, let’s sit Otto and Dunn…hahaha. No way the Bulls were going to win 4 in a row. I did see that the grizz beat the quakers (queen and lakers…hahaha), but I did not see any highlights of the game. Feel bad that I missed all of that queen nonsense…love seeing that fool fail. Then I feel bad for not seeing the noah highlights…not as big a fan as you are but still, the guy put in max effort when he was here. Glad he had a good game. He always seemed to get those competitive juices flowing a little more vs the queen. Pretty easy to take no blame and congratulate yourself for some more stat records. Pretty tough to man up and lead this quaker team to the playoffs. Who is going to step up and help the queen? hahaha…we already know he needs it (see ray allen and kyrie irving). Here’s hoping the quakers miss the playoffs!
