Chicago sports has always been a big part of my life; I’ve always been into it, since I was young. And although life gets busy, and there are priorities, with other competing priorities, watching my teams is still a big part of my life. That’s why we work so hard: to enjoy moments like this. With tickets in hand, I was up early on this Sunday in anticipation of taking my son to his first Bears game. When we finally told him about his surprise, he said he didn’t want to go… of course he did. He changed his tune pretty quickly, as we began to get ready. We both layered up, with the top layer being our 34 jerseys. We were ready to go. As we got in the car, headed down to Soldier Field, and were dropped off by my wife, I hoped for a good first Bears game experience for my son…

Sports have always been a part of my life, too, and more specifically, Chicago sports. I follow my teams very closely and try to catch as many games as I can. I do not really go to many games but have been to my fair share. I would love to have season tickets to all of my teams, but that just is not possible unless the lottery comes calling. There is nothing like going to a game. Visiting the cathedral, Wrigley Field, on a beautiful sunny day is hard to put into words. The opening for the Blackhawks and being there to see them in their prime was awesome. The Bulls have not been great lately, but they still put on a good show, and you can’t beat walking around and taking pictures with the 6 trophies! With snow and cold probable, a visit to Soldier Field is amazing, especially when the Bears are good, like now. So enjoy the first game experience with your boy and bring home the W!
