I’ve been lucky to go on many family vacations growing up. I’m lucky to be able to continue that tradition with my family today. It’s time to play a little catch up.
I love the night before leaving. Getting everything ready to go. Making sure everything in the fridge is either eaten or tossed. Finishing packing everything you’ll need, hoping you don’t forget anything. I love leaving super early too. This recent case was no different.
Having to be up at about 2am to get ready to leave to the airport, I figured I wouldn’t sleep. The Cubs were on late, plus I had to cut my hair, shave, and take a bath before leaving. It didn’t work out exactly how I planned it.
I knocked out during the Cubs game; fell asleep about the 6th inning. Thankfully, I anticipated this. I set my alarm, and got up just in time to see the end of the postgame show. Then I had to do my thing. Had enough time to finish everything, plus post my last blog until this one. Like I said, I have some catching up to do.
This is the most receptive problem in man’s sexual life as it affects the lives of many men, you may read cheap viagra levitra on line. Was ready to roll at 2am, as I started to pack the car. Then got the family up. My son was pretty excited. We had told him that we would be getting him up in the middle of the night, so he wouldn’t be surprised. He was still tired of course, but we left on time. We did forget something; the sandwiches and fruit will be waiting for us when we return. Everything else was locked and loaded. We checked our bags at the curb check in, and headed to the gate.
Of course, we try to tie in sports with every trip. Got to see many different stadiums growing up, and hope to do the same now; we have a good start. This time Petco Park would be the destination for one of our nights. Seeing the Cubs play out there will be awesome; can’t wait to see that stadium. We have been to San Diego a couple times, and past by the stadium, but never inside. That will all change on this trip.
There are other things lined up, like LEGOLAND and the San Diego Zoo. The pool and beach will be heavy on the agenda. I can’t wait to get there. Decided to fly into LA, since it was a lot cheaper; the 2 hour drive to San Diego is no big deal. After all, I did need to stop and see my West Coast peeps. Living and working out there for about 5 years, I have some West Coast family as I like to call them. Our time in California would begin with breakfast with them.
Most importantly, besides not being at work, is the time I will be spending with my family. I remembered these times growing up; the plan is the same for my son. Of course the day to day is important, but this is why we work so hard; this is the reason we do what we do. To enjoy time away together, experience new things, and have fun doing whatever we do, will hopefully be the things that stick in his brain about our family vacation. Oh yeah, and Mom and Dad will have fun too, and add to our great travel memories. California here we come.
