April 20, 2018: Thirty Three Years

Now that we’ve got that out of the way… First half of the season in the books, as are all of our games against the AFC…in the regular season…  We’re 6-2 and headed into the second half of the season which includes 5 of our 6 division games.  Love it!  Bring it on.

Week 10 vs Detroit

I’m going to go out on a limb and say the Lions will finish in last place in the NFC Central, a place that has been reserved for the Bears in recent history.  Not this year… not this year.  Bears 35-21.

Week 11 vs Minnesota

The toughest test for the Bears within the division…. probably still pissed about getting their asses kicked last year in the playoffs by Philly.  This will be a game with division standings on the line, and… the Bears will bow down in this one.  Bears lose 20-17.

Week 12 at Detroit

Well, well, well… what are your Thanksgiving plans going to be this year?  Well, whatever they are, they will have to wait until about 2pm to get going, because the Bears are back on Thanksgiving.  And they’ll be playing the turkeys that are the Lions.  Bears eat good and stuff the Lions.  Bears 27-9

Week 13 at New York Giants

With a week and a half before this game, heading to the East Coast, the Bears will keep the wins coming.  Bears 27-21.

Week 14 vs Los Angeles

This game may be moved to the flex game on Sunday Night football, as it features 2 division leaders.  The Rams will come into Soldier Field and get the best out of the Bears in a potential playoff preview.  Bears go down 17-12.

So I got 11-5 for their record this year.  Yes, I’m a die hard Bears fan, so you’re going to say I’m full of crap, and that’s fine.  But the next successful era of Bears football is finally here.  With Trubisky in his 2nd year, Nagy and the new staff, and Fangio with the most talent on defense in his time here, the Bears are primed for a great season.  11 wins is very optimistic and that will most certainly lead us back to the postseason; how good will that feel just to be back in the playoffs?

But no, don’t stop there… Bears, Vikings, Rams, 49ers, Eagles, and Falcons will be the field.  And who do you think I got?
