October 25, 2017: Can’t Quit Them

posted in: Bulls | 2

I hate the Bulls so much right now.  I’m so disgusted how the recent history of the team has went.  The season started and I hadn’t watched one minute.  Yet, in the third game of the season, as I drove home, I flipped them on.  When we got home, I turned them on.  No matter how pissed I am about the Bulls, I can’t quit them; you should know better.

And I am pissed; check two of the more recent blogs I’ve wrote about them:

And I don’t know when they’ll be back…don’t know when Fred will be gone….GarPax….Reinsdorf.  Currently the franchise is truly a burning dumpster.  Yet, they’re my burning dumpster.  Nobody can erase all the great memories I have because of the Bulls.  They are my hometown team; there just isn’t any other option for me, period.

Did the Bulls actually draft someone good this year?  No, I’m not talking about the kid we traded to the Warriors; don’t get me started.  Lauri Markkanen…I better get used to spelling his name.  He actually looks good.  He is the first player in NBA history to make ten three pointers in his first three games.   LeBron actually had some good stuff to say about him after the game; not like I ever listen to what he says.  But from the little bit I saw of him, (why was he sitting on the bench until mid 4th?) and the few highlights, he does remind me of Dirk.  I lied earlier; I did listen to some of the Bulls game vs the Spurs.  I remember now because he made a nice move against Gasol that I heard.  Anyways, could this be a guy for us?  If so, my next thought is I hope they don’t screw him up; they being Fredberg and GarPax.

Then all the other guys on he court; who the heck are they?  Still waiting for Dunn and Lavine.   Still waiting for Portis and Mirotic; what a joke that was.  Word is Niko may not be back, period.  And Bobby?  I guess who cares about either of those two really.   Felicio looked bad.  Kay Felder was hot for a minute, as was Valentine.  There was Holliday and Zipser and RoLo; yeah, it’s going to be a long season.

Glad to see them give the Cavs a run for their money, but 0-3 is the record.  No surprise, especially considering the first three teams we played; although don’t we always beat Toronto?

Yeah, I’ll be tuning in for all of it.  I may be a grumpy Bulls fan, but a Bulls fan nonetheless; that will never change.  Still waiting for number 7… Go Bulls!

Bulls are in a bad place right now. The guys running things, Garpaxberg, seem to have no idea. The fans are finding it hard to believe anything they say or do, including leading the Bulls in the right direction, and how can you blame them? I find myself in the same boat. Hard to trust guys who do not deserve it after what they did to this organization. Maybe Markk will be a bright spot for the future, but he will not be able to do it alone. If we as fans feel the way we do, how do you think free agents will be feeling? You think they are going to want to come to Chicago? Maybe in a few years to lead the Bulls out from hell but definitely not now. Grumpy Bulls fan is an understatement. Bulls fan regardless is spot on. Waiting for a 7th title? Might be a long time…19 years and counting. GO BULLS!!!
