Who’s afraid of the big bad Bulls, the big bad Bulls, the big bad Bulls? The answer should be nobody.
Maybe watching last night’s beat down, which I did not see, scared some people… 122-75??? The Magic were a bug on the Bulls windshield last night. Splat! We should know better though. A fluke is what it was. The Magic suck and appear to have already made their off season plans, while the Bulls… they acted like they were still playing for something… at least on Monday night at the UC.
That certainly wasn’t the case in Brooklyn over the weekend. Losing to the worst team in the NBA was pathetic. Now, it’s that same team that will come to the UC with our playoff lives on the line. No need to worry about the Heat’s game. Take care of business and we’re in. After all, maybe the Wizards will sit 3 of their top players like the Cavs did last night…
Yes, we’ve gotten quite used to seeing teams rest their players; this happens throughout the season. I actually do understand it at the very end of the regular season. If you’re a team whose fate has already been determined, a locked in 1 seed, set as a 3 seed, etc, then it makes perfect sense. Give your boys a breather right before the playoffs start. I’m against resting players in general, but in this case, I’m OK with it.
However, this was NOT the case last night in Miami. The Cavs, by sitting their top 3 and losing to the Heat, have now lost the #1 seed to Boston. My gut tells me the Cavs rest everybody in their final game too. I think they have a plan. After all, why would anybody want to purposely punt the #1 seed in the Conference?

But the drug intake can really be significant if consumed regularly by buy cialis overnight the valid consultation with proper diet and advised work outs. The Cavs are trying to avoid playing the Bulls in the first round. It doesn’t make sense why they are scared of the Bulls, but it certainly looks that way. They are trying to navigate the easiest road in the playoffs, which means the Pacers over the Bulls. After all, the Bulls did beat them all 4 games throughout the year. But as we know, that means nada. The Cavs, and Lebron in general, have owned us in the postseason. So why worry now?
If you check the regular season games, the Cavs rested their guys for at least 2 of those match ups. Why pick THOSE games to rest your guys? The Bulls have historically given the Cavs, and Lebron in general, a hard time in the regular season. Again, a lot of good that has done us. Still, if I was the Cavs, and Lebron in general, wouldn’t you want to punch us in the face in the regular season? I guess not. So let’s not even try… and pick THOSE games to rest our guys. After all, when we play everybody, and its the playoffs, we’ll kick the Bulls’ ass anyways.
So then why don’t the Cavs want to play the Bulls in the first round? They’re scared. I like thinking that. They definitely don’t want to play the Bulls; I’m sure they have their reasons. They’d rather pick the easiest path in the playoffs then take on all comers. And the Bulls? this year? like I said, nobody should be scared of us.
But, maybe that’s when a team is most dangerous. I like thinking that too. Yet, realistically, I’m not even close to believing that. Heck, I’m still worried about Wednesday night. Will our season end losing to the worst team in the NBA 2 times in 4 days? It makes absolutely no sense, when we have the postseason on the line, and the Nets have vacation on theirs. Yet, this is what this Bulls season has been. It would not surprise me. It would also not surprise me to see the Bulls win by 47 points again. I guess THOSE are the Bulls the Cavs are scared of???

I would like to think that the cavs are scared to play the Bulls. I would like to think that the Bulls would have a shot at beating whoever they play. I would like to think that the Bulls can flip that switch and be dangerous in the playoffs. Unfortunately, I believe all 3 of my thoughts are untrue. Yes, it did seem weird how they ended the regular season giving away the top seed. Scared of the Bulls because of an 0-4 regular season? Not so sure of that. The cavs are still the team to beat in the east until somebody does it. Can the Bulls beat whoever they play? So you’re saying there’s a chance? Of course, but it is very slim, and flipping switches is dangerous for good teams, and even harder to do for mediocre ones like the Bulls. Agree or disagree, the Bulls are in the playoffs. What will they do now that they made it? Maybe a game 1 Easter miracle is in store.
