March 26, 2017: Raise Your Hand

Raise your hand if you thought the Bulls would win in Milwaukee on Sunday.  Raise your hand if you can believe they lost to the Sixers at home on Friday night. Raise your hand if you have any idea of what to expect with this Bulls team.  Raise your hand if you’re sure.

You get the picture. This Bulls team keeps surprising in different ways. A lot of bad ways, but some surprisingly good ways too. Let’s take Niko for example.

That’s me. As he is announced before home games, I come running out high fiving my son, who is Jimmy Butler by  the way, fist bumping life sized Leonardo from the Ninja Turtles, and pointing to our dog.  We act out the beginning of each Bulls home game that we catch, which ends with a quick team huddle, and a Go Bulls shout. I’m proud of my performance lately.

Niko has been on fire. Again, who saw that coming?  Not since the first days of the season, or even worse, the last year of Thibs, have we seen Niko play like this. Usually building a brick house, looking out of sorts with his crazy pump fake I got fouled moves, Niko has been playing like we thought at one time he should.  Is it simply a hot streak?  Will he return to his old self soon?

He turned in another big game against the Bucks on Sunday.  Of course, Buckets played out of his mind too. And yes, the Bucks were short handed without Parker, but they had been hot, especially at home. The Bulls got the win they needed to stay on the brink of the playoffs.

Being very specific about generic viagra generic my problems, I searched for suggestions and came across Kamagra Pills. The schedule, which helped us early, hurt us mid season, will now turn in our favor again. Most of the remaining teams we have left to play are under 500, just like us.  The only two teams that we play above 500 are our next two games.

Cleveland hasn’t been playing well, will be without Korver, who knows who else they will sit, and oh yeah, will be played on Thursday night on TNT at the UC. Win anyone?  Then the Hawks are up, who will be without Millsap for our match up. The Hawks are 0-8 without him this year.  Are the Bulls catching some breaks as we roll down the stretch?

We’ll take it. Regardless of all the crap, I would still enjoy seeing the Bulls make the playoffs. As I’ve said numerous times, they should be embarrassed if they don’t make them. Regardless of how many rounds (or games) we will last, it will still be fun. And who knows…the unpredictability of this team could bring us a surprise we’d least expect.  Maybe that’s pushing it.

I guess I should be tuning in, watching a little more closer down the stretch. I just feel that when I do zone in, I get too frustrated. I get frustrated with Jimmy trying to guard everybody, wearing himself down. I get frustrated with all the missed three pointers…all the points we give up in the paint.  When I watch, it feels like I’m always yelling at the TV.

I think I will tune in Thursday night.  I hope the Queen does play.  I hope we can stick it to him one more time in the regular season; I just have to live in that zone for now.  The Bulls are a franchise that should be making the playoffs year in and year out. It’s right there for us; let’s get it. Go Bulls!

Roller coaster going up and down all year. Impossible to figure this Bulls team out, let alone any of the individual players. They continue to be a slightly below average team that still has a shot to make the playoffs. What happens if, and that is a big if, the Bulls make it? Will they be a 1st round sweep for the cavs or celts? Will they shock the world and pull off an upset? My guess is somewhere in middle, which will be a 1st round exit after a decent fight. But who really knows? All of this guessing is assuming the Bulls make it and you know what is said and assuming. Maybe the Bulls can finish strong, make the playoffs, and miraculously pull off an upset. That is what might be needed to save this disappointing season. Anybody raise your hand if you’re sure about any of it…didnt think so. GO BULLS!!!
