March 4, 2017: Ready to Roll

posted in: Blackhawks | 1

I would say this accurately describes the Blackhawks at this moment.  9-1 in February.  3-0 in March.  8 in a row on the road which is a franchise record.  Yeah, this Blackhawks team is firing on all cylinders.

They’re being lead by none other than Toews and Kane:  the Blackhawks dynamic duo.  Some pretty cool stats (as usual) thrown out by @ckmaka on Twitter.  In these past 13 games, Kane has 14 goals and 7 assists; Toews has 8 goals and 12 assists.  When they both score a goal in the same game, the Blackhawks are 8-0 this season.  Oh yeah, they are 33-0 in the last 33 games both have scored.  They are 66-6-4 when they both score in the regular season all time.  Finally, they are 6-0 when both score in a playoff game.  Pretty good formula for success.  I guess that’s why we chose to make these guys the center of the core.

They are definitely dynamic.  They have been flat out on fire, seemingly making each other better by their own individual play.  Toews goes hat trick; Kane follows… and one ups him with another hat trick.  They are reminding everyone who may have forgotten that they are 2 of the best players in the league, and that as long as they are in a Blackhawks sweater, the Blackhawks will be in contention for a Cup.

They are smack dab in the middle of it again this year.  They overtook the Wild for a brief minute with their win over Nashville on Saturday night.  Yeah, I know, the Wild still have some games in hand, but their lead seemed to evaporate quickly.  Not like home ice is that important, but it would be nice.

It’s not only Toews and Kane of course.  This weekend it was the Soup and Sandwich duo with the GWGs.  Bread man on Friday and Campbell on Saturday scored the big goals.  With the stars playing like stars, and the other guys chipping in, although I guess Bread Man is one of the stars, this team will be tough to beat.

Some internet marketers only use the power of article levitra 60 mg marketing to make their online income and it works quite well for them. I like beating Nashville, especially in Nashville.  The place where they try to keep Hawks fans from attending, always has a ton of Hawks fans.  Success against this team both in the regular and most importantly post season is sweet.  They are a potential first round matchup.  I’m up for that.

It doesn’t really matter who we play; that’s kind of the attitude right now.  It doesn’t really matter on the road or at home.  With the Hawks playing like this, all I can say is Bring It On!

My only worry would be are we peeking too early?  I mentioned this previously…  could this phenomenal run come about 20 games too early?  How long will we be able to keep this up?  Would it be better if we lost a few games and came back down to earth before the playoffs?  We will always find something to worry about.

These are rich people problems.  These are small concerns in the big scheme of things.  This what happens when you are as good for as long as the Hawks have been.  It doesn’t mean we don’t want another.  Stay hot.  Stay ready to roll.  Go Blackhawks!

Blackhawks and their dynamic duo are definitely on a roll. If they can keep this up another 3 months, they will have their 4th Cup in 8 years.
Pretty cool stats on Toews and Kane both scoring in a game. 6-0 in the playoffs when that happens, how about doubling that this year. When both are scoring, everybody else seems to feed off of them, which is why they are the leaders of the Bhawks…the core!
Keep scoring and rolling like you have been Bhawks, right into the playoffs all the way to the Cup! GO BHAWKS!!!
