As the NBA season winds down to its final 2 games, the Bulls look to finish strong. With a win against New Orleans on Monday night, they can finish 500 with a win over the hapless Sixers come Wednesday. Who cares?
Well, I guess some of the Bulls don’t. Resting most of their roster, leading to only 8 available guys to play, is pretty sad. It’s sad because the Bulls are so banged up, but what team isn’t at this point. Once they were eliminated, no need for anybody to care any more right? Wrong!
Jimmy has the right attitude. He wants to play these last two games. Yes, he hasn’t been perfect this year either, and has contributed to the dysfunction, but at least someone cares about finishing strong. Meanwhile, Rose decides to sit…as does Gasol.
Some may say good choice, and bad choice for Buckets; I’m not one of them. In a season of disappointment, choosing to not play in the final 2 games for rest reasons or fear of injury doesn’t fly. I’m just irritated in general with the NBA season. Bulls suck. Warriors record breaking. Kobe’s retirement party. It all makes me want to throw up. Thankfully, on Wednesday night they’ll be 3 other Chicago teams in action, including one playoff game. Let’s move on.

Too many times nba players take nights off. MJ would never do that. He knew somebody had plans to see him play and would not disappoint. Guys are resting all the time now…tired, sore, hurt, season over…all BS unless hurt enough to miss multiple games. The 2015-16 Bulls have done this all year…keep giving games away, see where that left you ladies. Thanks for playing Buckets and whoever else did. The rest need to suck it up and have some pride. Just because the season is over does not mean it is ok to take games off…enjoy the early vacation Bulls!
