It was a historic night on this April 5, 2016. Something happened for the first time in 65 years. 4 of our teams were in action; can you guess who made the history?
No, it had nothing to do with the Blackhawks. They pounced on the Coyotes on Tuesday night, winning their 3rd in a row.. prepping for the playoffs. With Keith resting..I mean, suspended, and Crow almost back from injury, the Hawks will be at 100% at the right time. Will Crow be 100%? Good question. Another good question is who will we play? It really doesn’t matter. If the Hawks are going to repeat, it doesn’t matter. 3 games left until the next chapter of this Hawks dynasty is started.
It surely was the Bulls… nope, although this year has been historically bad. Historically bad from an expectations perspective. They got pounded by the short handed Grizzlies with nothing to play for. That was sad, and now we need a miracle to get into the postseason. We just had one of these horrible years back in 2014 with our Bears; they earned themselves a Hate File for that performance. Do we have one in the making for our 2015-2016 Chicago Bulls? I would have to say yes.

No history there… hopefully no history at all there. The Timberwolves knocked them off in OT in Golden State… yes! At 69-9, they have to win the next 4 games to break our Bulls record. With 2 games against the Spurs, I’m hoping worst case for a tie… best case they split the remaining 4 and come up 1 short. I didn’t think it would be this close, but it is.. and I’m hoping… I know.. call me a hater, that’s fine. It’s true.
No, on this April evening, both of our Chicago baseball teams were the culprits; they both started the season 2-0. Would you believe that this is the first time this has happened in 65 years? That is just amazing… and pitiful at the same time. It took our baseball teams 65 years for both of them to win just the first 2 games of the season??? WOW… pathetic. And yes, we don’t like to group our baseball teams together, but they share in this patheticness. What is it, like 228 combined years of Cubs and White Sox baseball, and only 5 World Series titles? OUCH.
So 65 years coming since both of our teams started 2-0. Forget about history, and just be glad it finally happened. I can’t imagine a better start to the season for the Cubs, and with 2 one run victories for the Sox, you have to think winning ugly… Who will lose first? Who cares I guess? Who will win last? That’s the question… and we don’t have to wait 65 years to answer that one. Just 160 + games… Cubs Sox World Series? I couldn’t even imagine… That would be one for the record books.

Back to back 6 goal games for the Hawks. 3 games left before the Cup playoffs…who will the Hawks play? Looks like the blues if the season ended today.
Bulls continue to blow any chance of making the playoffs.
I hope the spurs dont lay down to gsw in their 2 games left.
Cubs and sox 2-0…WOW, cant believe how long it took for both teams to start that way. Long season ahead, enjoy the few win start.
