The Bulls Lakers game was on TNT this Thursday night. Even though the Lakers suck this year, and the Bulls are riding this coaster to the max, it’s still a pretty cool game. It’s always fun to beat LA.
Living in LA for 5 years I think, brings this one a little closer to home for me. Every time the Lakers played the Bulls while I was living there, I was there. My wife and I decked out in our Bulls gear… representing the Bulls… yelling Streetwise at Gasol, Dopehead at Odom, and You’ll never be MJ at Kobe, we enjoyed our times in the Staples Center. There was always a good spattering of Bulls fans, after all, all Chicago teams travel well… plus you add the Chicago transplants from the West Coast, and it’s always a good showing.
The Lakers are after all, one of the top franchises in NBA history… so are the Bulls. It’s Boston and LA at the top, and then the Bulls and San Antonio rounding out the franchises with 5 or more NBA titles. Although the Bulls only have 6, they are the only franchise to be undefeated in the Finals for teams with more than 1 title. Don’t think the Celtics or Lakers will be adding to their totals, 17 & 16 respectively, soon… the Bulls and Spurs have a much better chance this year.
FDA has approved such cheap viagra two drugs named Minoxidil and Finasteride which were tested under extensive trials for final use by the people. The first line drug which is given is viagra without rx . How to prevent levitra ordering sexual weakness and weak ejaculation wonderfully well. The color is more vivid levitra no prescription and accurate. I don’t really have any hate towards the Lakers specifically. The only primetime matchup that sticks out in my head with the Lakers was the 1991 Finals of course. After Game One, the hate started to build… after Sleepy Sam Perkins banked in the winning 3 pointer, while MJ’s game winner hit every piece of the backboard and rim before rimming out. But with 4 consecutive victories, and a celebration on the Forum court, no need to hate the Lakers. The Clippers, the Bulls next opponent, doesn’t stir up any feelings either. Heck, we didn’t even go see the Bulls Clippers games out there… only the Lakers.
Crossing into the other sports, the hate brews. The Dodgers are on that list. The Kings are too. They both have their hate files secured. I attended both Dodgers Cubs and Hawks Kings games while out in LA. Again, Chicago represented across the board. I even went to see the White Sox Angels game out there; didn’t really like the Angels stadium. Much rather see a game in Dodger stadium… although I am biased to the older stadiums. I didn’t really get too much crap out there, besides the Cubs Dodgers games… I think I’ve chronicled those here, and if not, there’s a reason why I didn’t…haha.
So beating the Lakers on TNT Thursday night was still sweet. This year, it’s sweet not only because the Bulls have struggled against bad clubs, but because it’s Kobe’s last game vs the Bulls in LA. It was nice to beat his old ass again… hey, he’s still making 25 million this year I believe… talk about the worst current NBA contract. Yet, I guess he’s earned it over the years… the early years where I hated this wanna be MJ. Those days are gone, but the Bulls Lakers game is still fun. When will these 2 franchises meet again when it counts? That may be a while, so we’ll have to settle for 2 games per year until the next great Laker shows up and elevates the Lakers to contenders again. Until then, I’ll continue to enjoy seeing them suck.

Beating lal and losing to lac…the roller coaster continues for the Bulls. No consistency…still trying to find that chemistry.
Always nice to beat the big market teams with their lame fans, like the lakers.
