On January 1, 2016, the Chicago Bulls played the 4000th game in their franchise history. At 2092-1908, they sit above the 500 line for the past 50 years. As for 2016, they are now 1-0.
It was the New York Knicks that visited the United Center on this bad scheduling break. The Bulls were victims the last time these two teams met. Coming off a 4OT loser to Detroit, the Bulls had to jump a plane to NYC to play the next night. It was ugly, and the Butler comments followed. After all, they’re the Knicks and they suck! Losing to them is just bad. So the tables were turned on this New Year’s Day. Nobody wants to play this Bulls team on this day; 7-1 was our record heading into this affair.
And 8-1 is our record now. Great game by the way. My wife recorded it since we were house hopping on this day; great times with family is the right way to start off the new year. A Bulls win was the cherry on top. It’s pretty cool that she able to set up the recorder from her phone. No need to rush home or be upset because you didn’t set the VCR; technology is pretty fricking great.
I was exhausted and caught many an elbows to help me stay up throughout this late night rewind. I don’t remember much of the 2nd quarter besides the 17 point lead that we put up on these guys. Blowout city, or was it?
The Bulls went to sleep for a bit and let this D league team back in it. Poor Carmelo. That sucker won’t sniff a ring for the rest of his career with these bums. He chose the money, and I’m sure Lala is happy; I’m sure Melo is OK too…after all, if winning was that important to him, he would be wearing a Bulls uniform. Since he isn’t, I love seeing the Knicks suck even more than normal. Melo will be on that list of great players without a ring.
This whole Bulls roster minus Gasol is on that same list currently. It was weird to see both Rose and Noah, the 2 center pieces of this team going years back, sitting on the bench in street clothes. We’ve been used to that with Derrick, but now Joakim too; I have a strange feeling that one or both will not be with this squad much longer. I was glad to see them on the bench…at least they were there supporting Butler and crew.
They’re found in virtually every conceivable gadget or piece of sophisticated equipment we touch tadalafil cialis these days. Retrograde ejaculation is the cheapest price for sildenafil condition when semen goes back to the bladder just when orgasm is experienced. Other methods of purging involve using laxatives or perhaps amerikabulteni.com purchase viagra diuretics. Vitamin B5 Also known as Pantothenic acid, cialis cipla B5 has been considered helpful in the fight against erectile dysfunction.
That’s really what it is now. Yes, Gasol has been great, but this is his last season with us. It’s nice to see Taj play well; a true warrior…hard hat lunch pail guy who I love to watch play. And how about Bobby Portis getting those minutes. If not starting, he needs to be the first guy off that bench the rest of the year. The guy brings energy, he’s not afraid to take it to the hole. He needs to be on the court; I’m glad Hoiberg figured that out.
And how about Niko…hitting that trey from the Bulls face at half court. Wow. He certainly had been doing his best to build a house this year, but some go in too…ha. McDermott had a nice game too. Like I said, I missed most of his 2nd quarter work, but saw the nails in the 4th.
And the defense? New York scored a franchise record low 8 points in the 4th quarter. Love that effort, but taking it with a grain of salt because it is the Knicks.
A win is what it all adds up to. Undefeated in 2016 is fun to say. Let’s ride that for a bit…not 4000 games, but maybe 4? They’ve been playing good ball, and I’m happy for that. Go Bulls!

Bulls have the pieces and talent in place to compete. It is all going to come down to some key moves mid-year, but more importantly how this team comes together and plays minus their individual egos. If everyone can just do their jobs without trying to do more, watch out!
GO BULLS!!!
