September 19, 2015: Wild Out

It’s been too long since I’ve talked about the cubbies. With all the good stuff going on, I couldn’t wait to get back to it.

Simply put, they’ve been rolling. They took the last 3 from the Pirates, and the first 2 from the Cardinals:  5 in a row against the 2 teams ahead of them in the division. They’ve been doing it every which way.

Jake was his dominant self, except for that darn throw to first. What does he think he’s Lester?  He airmailed another throw which cost him the first run. The second run was on an unorthodox double play that ended the inning. So 20 will have to wait. Oh yeah, Cubs still won that game. I believe they pushed a run across in this one via the bunt. They’ve done that twice in this most recent winning streak. I know Castro did it once…

And what about Castro. How about the game he had against the Cards on Friday?  How about the recent streak he’s been on?  I’m happy for the guy. I know he’ll never play SS for us again, but he can still be a part of this team.  His bat has heated up big time. His glove has been pretty good too; he’s made some spectacular plays. That being said, I’d probably still replace him late for defense. I still fear the boneheaded play in a big situation. But let’s just ride the wave for now. Bravo Starlin!

It’s really been somebody each game stepping up. You have the usual suspects in Rizzo, Bryant, and Schwarber, but Russell too. Baez has been good in his 2nd stretch. Coghlan has had some big games. Montero, Lastella….the list goes on. Fowler…  It’s a good feeling when you have a number of guys coming up with big hits. The Cubs have been on a roll.

What the heck is going tadalafil 20mg for sale on? After all, you’ve installed a broadband connection, and you thought your internet access was going to be lightning fast since you dumped that dialup garbage.
Then you have the tension filled games with St. Louis this weekend. Sweeping them would pull us within 4. Still an outside shot at the division, even if it is a long shot. To even be in that position at this point, is impressive. The Cards better watch their back, both the last couple weeks, and in the postseason if we see them. We’re surging, while they’re slumping. Good combination at this time of the season.

I love Joe Maddon too.  The stuff he said after the Friday game was awesome. Then to come out Saturday and plunk 3 of their guys…awesome. Don’t take no crap, especially from these pigs. Things aren’t like they’ve used to be. Heck, this may be the last year we’re looking up at them for a while, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves. But they know…the rest of the division knows…  The Cubs are coming.

I think I’m going to get to Wrigley this last week to see one more game. The games have been so electric lately, I got to get there to be a part of it. 163 is all but official at this point, and that may even be at home. Only 1 game behind Pittsburgh heading into Sunday…and three more games with them to go…it doesn’t get much better than this.

Im trying to stay calm, but I feel like I’m about to wild out….go crazy.  These Cubs are exciting to watch.  They’re never out of a game. They win games different ways from different guys.  The best is yet to come?  Go Cubs!
