As the entertaining Ravens Chargers game ticked down on Monday night, Week 12 of the NFL came to a close. With a dozen down, only six weeks remain in the regular season!!! Can you believe how fast this NFL season is flying by? I would say time flies when you’re having fun, but as a Bears fan… the season is still going by quick, too quick. Although the playoffs will be fun, once the NFL is gone, then the waiting game begins again. Enjoy every ounce of it now…
Good news for one of the other major disappointments this season; the New York Jets didn’t lose in Week 12… of course, the only reason for that is because they didn’t play! ba da dum… The other New York football team did play and my God… talk about a disaster. Daniel Jones was benched and cut; Tommy Cutlets was in, and… they were worse than before. Was Daniel Jones the problem? Are the G-Men just that bad? Seeing football in New York struggle this year warms my heart. The other major bust, which also warms my heart, actually pulled out a miracle against the Commanders in Washington; yes, the Cowgirls actually won a game. Now, we get to look forward to the Giants Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day!!! Don’t let it ruin your appetite..
All the other NFC North teams won other than the Bears, and yes, I will try not to let the Lions beatdown of the Bears ruin my Thanksgiving Day either. The Lions just keep rolling; the Packers got a Niners team in a revenge spot without their starting QB. Is it just me, or does Jordan Love and the Packers feel fugazi? Yeah, they’re fake! Can’t wait for them to get exposed when it matters. Somebody tell Love that the 2nd half of the season is here, because that’s when he started playing good last year… overrated, overpaid… hate, hate, hate.
The Dolphins kicked ass; if Tua didn’t go down… The Chiefs won ugly again; go figure. Talk about ugly… what the hell happened to the Texans? Now the Titans beat them?!?! Maybe my over the win total for Tennessee does have a chance… The Raiders… couldn’t punch it in at the end so I could win my bet huh? Are the Broncos that good? I don’t think so. Seahawks beat the Cardinals, coupled with a Rams loss and that Niners loss, makes the NFC West an absolute mess. Keep waiting for the Niners to snap out of it, but with a road game in Buffalo next… not likely.
Still feels like the Lions will march to the Super Bowl, for the first time in their history, although the Eagles sure are looking good; that would be a great NFC Championship game. Meanwhile, the Chiefs… I’m sure they’ll be there at the end, playing who in the AFC Championship game? I think the Ravens and the Bills are most likely, unless Cincy can raise from the dead??? NFL football on Thursday, Friday, Sunday, and Monday this week. Sit back and enjoy it… before it’s gone again.
